Want to get better grades, AND spend less time studying?

You may be the kind of person that can spend hours upon hours studying for a test, but then when the time comes, you forget everything the second the clock starts.

Or maybe you hate spending all that time studying, and wish you could have more free time to do the things you want to do.

Study the right way, and save your time!

If you want to get better grades, but spend less time studying, there is one thing you need to change.

That being, how you remember things. The fact is, some of us could look at a page in a book for hours and hours reading it over and over again, but then within a couple of minutes we will forget it entirely.

Why is that?

Why does that happen? It happens because we are using methods of studying that aren't effective. Methods that take to much time to work, and methods that in the end, suck up more time than needed.

Your time is important and so are your grades!

Many people think that in order to get better grades, you actually have to spend more time studying. While this holds some truth, it is missing some of the picture.

So how do you study less and get better grades?

You improve your study skills!

By improving your study skills, you can drastically cut down the time you spend studying, while at the same time, improve your grades!

The next question is though, how can you improve your study skills?

Improve your Memory, Improve your grades

By improving your memory, you can spend less time studying, and actually help to improve your grades. You can spend less time studying because you will be able to remember more information faster and easier than before.

Many people study inefficiently, thus causing them to spend more time studying than needed. They don't know that if they studied properly, they could be spending less time studying, while achieving the same (or better) results.

An hour of proper studying can achieve the same results as two hours of studying in an inefficient way. Which would you rather do?

The trick to better studying lies in understanding how our minds work, and more importantly how our memory works.

Things that may hinder your memory

If you want to improve your memory, there are a few things you may need to watch. The following may be hindering your memory.

  1. Lack of sleep

  2. Not drinking enough water

  3. Heavy eating

  4. Alcohol or drugs

  5. Sugar

  6. White flower

Memory Tips and Tricks for Getting Better Grades In School

Here are a few memory tips that I use regularly when trying to memorize something.

Get Better Grades With These Memorization Tips

  1. Make Associations - Create associations with what you need to memorize with something close to it. If the word sounds like another word, make that association.

  2. Paint a Picture - Using the associations you made up, make up a story to go along with it. Imagine the story playing in your mind. Try as best as you can to make the images as real as possible. The more real you imagine it, the easier it will be to remember.

Work On Improving Your Memory

Improving your memory may not only help with your grades, or help you reduce the time you spend studying, it can also help in all areas of your life as well.

To improve your memory you need to understand how your memory works, and learn ways that you can help to improve it.

To get better grades, memorizing information is crucial. Having excellent memory skills pays off when you are test taking, and all throughout school. If your memorization skills are improved, then you can bet it will help out with taking tests, as well as with getting better grades.
