Time To Turn The Tide

Getting Started Again

When the realization dawns again and you jump on the bathroom scales to notice that the pounds have slipped on unnoticed as you have tried to live your hectic life, it's not too late. Don't panic. No matter what your age it's never too late to get fit for life. The first thing to do is to stop the trend. Stabilize your weight by a combination of watching the calories and gentle exercise.

Keep Doing What You're Doing and You'll Keep Getting The Same Results

Reversing The Trend

I'm afraid a slight lifestyle change is called for here. Whether it's cutting out some TV, not playing your favourite computer game as often, dozing in a comfortable chair every night when you get home from work, you need to find time to EXERCISE. Nothing to strenuous to start with. If you can fit in 15 minutes a day gentle movement you will halt any gain in weight. When you start to cut your calorie intake and increase your daily workout, you will start to shed the pounds.

You Only Have To Slightly Alter Your Perspective To See Change

Slowly Getting Results

Depending on your weight and how much you wish to lose you can see rapid results. For many, however, the best and safest way is to build your fitness regimen up gradually and you'll see the ponds drop off gradually over time. Some days or weeks may not be so relevant as others. The best way to monitor your results is to weigh yourself only once a week at the same time. That way you should never get disheartened and abandon your quest to get fit for life.

Natural Is Best

Become A Fitness Addict

My personal preference
is to workout every other day. I now exercise quite heavily for one hour, but not every day. I crave the need to get to the gym and sweat. Leaving a day between each session not only gives my body time to heal, my body is crying out for the euphoric release of endorphins. Endorphins are a natural chemical released by the brain that does no harm at all to your body. Every bit as addictive as heroin, alcohol or tobacco, your goal should be to get hooked on these babies. Replace whatever you are craving right now with natural endorphins and live longer, be fitter, be happier and more fulfilled. Get fit for life.
