Thses Simple Tips Will Build Your Following Fast

It is easier than people think to start gaining a large following from Day 1. Everyone has the skills to do so and it is free. Before starting to build your following it is important to first decide what your Twitter niche will be. By first choosing a niche to pursue, you will end up with a well concentrated following of users interested in your niche. It is easy to come up with a niche, use your interest, hobbies, or business. Just follow my steps below and you will build an enormous following fast!

Get Ready to Explode your Following 

I have a few different Twitter accounts I market for and using the methods below get me 50+ followers in my target niche every day. By niche followers I mean people who share your interests that are following you. Now I have just created my Twitter account for this blog and I received 700 followers in a little over a day! It is not hard to get 50 to 100 niche followers a day, but it can be tedious to do so. Here are some steps to help you acquire your new 50+ followers a day!

Step 1: Attract Potential Followers with a Great Profile 

Set-up your profile with a good picture and a catchy BIO. Your picture is important since it is the first thing people see about your profile. Be sure your picture uploads nice and clear or it will not be attractive to potential followers. A good, interesting, witty BIO will help attract followers as well. This is the profile pic from naturalmedicine.com, one of the websites I advise. At first they used a pic of one their products, it uploaded grainy and it was not clear what it was. They were using the rest of my tips but their following was not growing as fast as hoped. So I took a look at all of the pictures on their website and recommended that switch to this pic. The picture uploaded nice, clear and it matches the message of naturalmedicine.com. Since the pic switch they have grown their following by 1,400 followers in less tan a couple of weeks. It is important that your profile picture willl grab the attention of potential followers.

Step 2: Follow a Large Follower 

Follow a person or company in your niche with a large following. You can use the Find People link on the top right of your Twitter page to enter a keyword associated with your niche. For example lets say you want to follow people interested in health, you would enter "health" in the find people search and then choose the Tweeter with a large following(1,000+) who interests you the most. Or you could search for large companies related to health such as Whole Foods (who has over 550,000 followers now) and follow them.

Step 3: Build Your Following by Following 

Now that you are following a popular Tweeter(s) who share your interest, go through the followers of the popular Tweeter's profile. Find followers who interest you and follow them. To do this quickly you can mouse over a users picture to get their BIO and see if they interest you. Chances are, if you have similar interests, people will cordially follow you back. I suggest start following anywhere from 200-400 people at a time.

Step 4: Start Tweeting Some Good Stuff 

Write a couple of interesting Tweets, its easy since you only have 140 characters to play with. Having some Tweets on your page will make it more interesting to people when they check out your profile.

Step 5: Follow Back 

When you start having people follow you, follow back those who interest you. At first, most of your followers will likely be people who you already follow.

Step 6 A: Thank Those who Follow 

Send a direct message to all of your followers, thanking them for following you. You can automate this with a tool called Tweet Later, check out the tutorial vid below. A personal touch is best but gets overwhelming when you start having 50 people following you at a time.
