Playing Free Games For Cash, Gift Cards, and Prizes

How I get paid to play games online in my free time.

And, as a homeschooling mom who works at home, I don't have a lot of free time.  The sites I use and recommend have to be fast to do and easy to walk away from if I need.  I also don't like spammy sites, don't "do" offers, and I won't pay for a chance to win in a tournament or anything like that.  I do like a payout threshold I can reach in a reasonable amount of time.  This criteria leaves me with a short list of fun free gamesites that offer rewards.

Here they are if you'd like to move your casual gaming time over to something that rewards you, too:

Getting Paid to Play Casual Games for Prizes

Club Bing

Accumulate points while playing, which can be spent on items.

Club Bing is Microsoft's gamesite, and you'll see that reflected in many of the prizes. It's also reflected in the quality of the games. There are quite a few choices among different game styles and they're all better than average quality games.

Club Bing tickets and prizes are for U.S. residents only.

My best tip: Play around with the different games to find the ones you're best at, enjoy most, and pay you the best.

Getting Paid to Play Trivia and Other Games for Gift Cards

Game Show Network

Accumulate oodles, which can be traded for gift cards to Amazon, Walmart, and other stores, or other prizes.

Some of the games are trivia that can be looked up online, some are casual arcade type games, and some are played in conjunction with the game shows showing on the network at the time. That last category will require you to have the television network to know the answers, but the first two types of games do not.

Be aware that there are a lot of free games to play on the site, and not all of them earn oodles by playing. There are cash competitions associated with WorldWinner, as well, that have nothing to do with oodles. I don't do those. To see the ones that earn oodles, you need to click the oodles tab there on the front page and check out the Ways to Win Oodles link.

GSN's oodles program is limited to the U.S. and Canada.

Of the sites listed here, I've done the best with this one, earning over $100 in gift cards since I found it this summer. Check out my full GSN review for more, and to see screenshots of where to find all the games.

My best tip: increase your earnings by using your favorite paying search engine to look up the answers for the trivia games.

Getting Paid to Play Free Arcade Games and Casino Games

VideoSquares

Accumulate points while playing, which can be spent on prizes or gift cards to amazon, borders, walmart, target, or other stores.

The casino games include slots and blackjack, where wins translate to points. You pick up free play tokens to play, you're not gambling your points. Whenever you run out of tokens just drop back by the freeplay casino cage to pick up more.

The arcade games come in many types, and your score converts to points. It's not a direct conversion, it's a percentage of some sort. I usually play the multiplier games for an extra little boost of points.

This one appears to be U.S. only.

Playing Quick Survey Games For Chances To Win Cash

Instant Cash Sweepstakes

There are no wrong answers to the questions, and this one takes just a couple of minutes to do. Answer the three quick surveys and you could win cash, from a few cents to $$, entries in the daily sweepstakes of $50, and "coins." The coins are for using in the bonus store to order items. You can cash out for paypal at $2.

Refer your friends and you win what they win.

U.S. residents only.
