At the end of 2007, Agloco sent an email to all of it's members, and explained that it had run out of capital and wasn't making enough money to cover costs. The website is down, and the signup page is unavailable.

My Personal Testimonial
At the height of the dot com bubble, I joined a website call AllAdvantage.com, the first of many similar programs. The idea was simple - they paid you to surf the web, while displaying ads on your desktop. The longer you spent online, the more money you earnt, and you could earn even more if you managed to recruit others.I did actually receive checks from AllAdvantage.
I don't have pictures, but I did cash them and spend the money on nice stuff.
Now, the original founders of AllAdvantage have started a new company called AGLOCO, based on the same ideas. They are working on a new version of their 'Viewbar', though it is still being beta tested at the moment. I don't think we'll have to wait much longer...
I'm intrigued to see how they'll do the second time round... hopefully the web technology available today is more advanced, and the advertising industry is healthier that it was then. There's even talk of shares being handed out to members.

How Will AGLOCO Earn Me Money?
The key to the success of Agloco and its members is the Viewbar. This is a piece of software thats sits on your desktop, in pretty much the same way as the Google Toolbar does.
If you are currently using a toolbar from Google, Yahoo! or Altavista, just consider for a moment how much they are paying you for the information they collect about you and the adverts they show you... NOTHING!This is where AGLOCO is different!
There are a whole bunch of ways AGLOCO Viewbar makes money on behalf of Members. Here are just a few quick examples.
