Speaking of personal experience I would say, yes, very much so. A disclaimer however: I have not yet made that amount of money. Last month (February 2009) I made $1800, but I can see the potential of making more. I only worked 30-45 minutes per day so it's quite good money.

In recent times it has been very popular to attack the old saying: Work smarter, not harder. Why is that so terrible? Why doesn't it work? I can tell you right now that this is the way you have to think. You need to balance your life and work in such a way that you feel relaxed and happy at all times. Working an hour a day will do that to you IF you have something to do while not working. It's great! Try it and you'll see that there's no way back.

You can go the completely free route, but in my opinion it's just not worth it. Sign up for many companies
When you decide to sign up for a paid survey portal, you will have a massive amount of companies that pay you to do surveys. Concentrate on the top companies listed within the paid survey and sign up for them. I signed up for 10 companies so I had a nice healthy selection of surveys and rewards.

It's all in the numbers!
This is most important. When you have a lot of surveys to choose from, which do you choose? My advice is to choose many, but do the ones that takes the least amount of time to do. After all, time is money! You can do a survey that pays really well, but they usually takes a long time to do. Do the ones that pay less and you can use your time better and make more money at the end of the month.
