    thanks, the only problem i can find is you need a different email for every myspace page you make, this could become hard to keep up but its quite easy if you were promoting 2 or 3 products

    I have a MySpace but still not sure how to work an affiliate program on it if they don't allow you to make money there. My affiliate job isn't making anything. Guess I haven't figured it all out yet. I'm on Squidoo so much now, making lenses that I don't use MySpace quite as much.

    You definetly need a cool looking myspace layout, i got mine from http://www.wayfetti.com check it out. It will help you make money with MySpace if you have something that is attractive.

    If MySpace limits your friend additions to 400 per day, it would take you 2500 days (that is 6.8 years) to obtain 1 million friends. Of course, I suppose if you had 5 accounts, then it would only take you 500 days or 1.4 years to build up 1 million friends. But adding 400 per day would probably cause MySpace to flag your account.
    Now lets suppose you build up a couple thousand friends and sell the account on Ebay. You can do that. But I check on Ebay for MySpace accounts that are being sold and they are only going for about $25 right now. In checking seller feedback, I did not find anyone that is making over $200 per month using this method.
    I suppose the better way to use MySpace then is to carefully market products to those friends. I wonder what the real potential of that is?

    great information lewis.just given you 5 stars. the key is to send out an interesting comment once you add them as a friend and to create an attractive profile that dosent come across as salesy but put pictures of yourself and tell your story then recommend the product in a way that you would to a friend with a link to the product on your profile page.

    Great ideas for making money.....Don't quite understand the whole affiliate link ban that myspace put on there.....If I will be using the page for marketing how do they see my products if there is no affiliate link

    I like your style; very smart money-making ideas! I don't have a MySpace account, I am struggling on Facebook adding a few friends everyday who then ask me: "who are you?". I have started a listing on the Marketplace with a clickbank affiliate link and I try to participate to the discussion boards everyday so people might look at my profile and see the listing; if this works, it will be much slower than what you describe here!

    Thanks for the information Lewis. It's a lot easier than I was making it out to be.

    I've had a myspace page for a while and haven't marketed with it, but I got Friend adder this week and started adding a few friends and I've been having a blast checking out people's pages and emailing them.

    I see MySpace as both a marketing tool and a great way to network and make friends and new business acquaintances. It was originally designed as a place for business networking anyway, so I'm taking the approach of building a network of friends that I may be able to help with some of the things I'm doing.. and make a little money along the way as well. Thanks again!
