Most of us at this point will turn to our doctors for answers because we feel a doctor can run tests and find out what is wrong and find a way to fix it so you are able to get pregnant over 40. You don't have many doctors who will tell you that it is perfectly normal and that it can and will still happen even though you have decided to wait. You will find that most doctors will tell you that infertility and miscarriages are significantly more common in older women. The reason for this is because doctors are limited to there knowledge. Charts are confusing and you may not accurately your ovulation making it almost impossible to get pregnant. Many woman begin doubting they will get pregnant over 40 even before they try because of the studies done and things they have heard. They assume they probably won't get pregnant anyway.
