- You don't have to get rid of house centipedes. They aren't an infestation-bug. They feed on infestation bugs, which is to say that if your home has house centipedes in it, it's because they are feeding on termites, cockroaches, bedbugs, silverfish, or whatever other insects happen to be infesting your home. Once they've exterminated the pests, they will move on to another infested home. House centipedes are not the problem, they are the solution.
