Avoid Spyware Viruses Malware and Trojans
Ranked #9,838 in Computers & Electronics, #201,491 overall
Stop Computer Hackers getting into your Computer?
Spyware, malware, viruses, and trojans are all part of the vicious criminal activity that has invaded the Internet. The differences between these things is important to know as are programs that can stop the crooks in their tracks. Where do you get them and how good they are is displayed in this lens.
"Sometimes my computer slows right down and at other times it is so frustrating that closing it down for a rest seems the best way to go. Maybe its just me that needs the break but there could be other problems." How many times do we hear this from people who use the Internet?
Is this how you feel when battling your way through an invasion of bugs on your computer? Are you ready to jump into anything that might help? Or are you looking for the best advice to know what you should do to keep your machine running perfectly?
This lens is about being protected from the nasties that invade and take over when you least expect it. The crooks behind them can throw you off the net, steal your information, hijack your business and sell you up. You don't want that to happen so here is a way to avoid it.
There are Many Ways to Get Protection
But how safe are they?
When I had one of the so-called best anti-virus products on my computer one of the worst Trojans suddenly invaded it. I could not do a thing, including opening a program, sending an email or looking at any web sites. The Company technicians informed me by phone that only through access to their site and downloading a cleaning system could it be removed. As I could not get access to the Internet this caused me major grief.
Since then many hundreds of viruses, malwares, spywares and Trojans, to say nothing of BOTS, have come online. My heart sinks every time I hear of a new one. Fortunately my web browser, Firefox, prevents these things for the most part and I am warned before opening suspicious sites. But not everyone has this type of browser. As the majority appear to have Internet Explorer, which comes as part of the Microsoft package, most of these malicious invaders are programmed for that particular system.
Along with some free anti-virus provided by Companies, such as AVG, many have hardly if ever been infected. But if you look at my other lens on protecting your computer and, therefore, your assets, you might like to examine the following information and the products of one particular company who handles programs to prevent this happening.
Anti-virus Software Does Not Do The Job
If you have spywear, malware and viruses getting in then you need more help.

When serious about marketing it is important to have everything running smoothly. You spend money to get online and for your computer, programs, and so on, so don't begrudge a little to keep it in top working order. Everyone who surfs soon realizes that viruses, malware and spywear will slow your computer down and that there are a lot of free products available to sort it out. But is free really good?
This became a debate between myself and common sense when first facing the nasty virus that invaded my machine a few years ago. It took me 2 days to get rid of it and a lot of inconvenience. As my computer could not be activated and the anti-virus company had to send me to a cleaning program it meant going out to the local library to download the information.
Never again I thought as I licked my wounds. That anti-virus program was one of the most expensive on the net. It failed to protect me and I learned a lesson. You have to have better than anti-virus to survive. The criminals are getting more sophisticated and organized and there is little you can do to stop them, except have the best systems available and one that come with guarantees and high recommendations.
If its free then what is the manufacturer making out of it? If he or she gets nothing then how good is the system they offer? Don't get me wrong, some systems are excellent for what they cost - nothing - but bear in mind you get what you pay for. Deciding that if someone has put in the time and effort to produce something valuable for me then he/she deserves their reward and paying them is the least I can do. For me being 100% secure is far more important than skimming on a few dollars
A Company Dedicated to The Task
This is One You Will Want to Deal With
Numerous companies offer great software for getting rid of viruses, Trojans, spyware and malware but few till tell you what they are and how they affect your computer.
There is one Company, however, that stands out for this reason - it speaks out about the likely invaders. If you don't know what these things are and how your get them then you are in the dark, so to speak. But now you can be informed and protected.
Blue Penquin software is the brainchild of a man who knew there had to be ways of preventing and getting rid of problem invaders before they do damage. His Company has subsequently won numerous awards for quality of product, according to his information. He claims that his software does what he set out to do, that is it gets rid of the nasties while keeping your machine functioning in top condition but stops them from entering in the first place.
What You Might Not Know
Are these already on your computer?

There are just too many spywears, malwares and viruses on the net to not be extremely concerned about your computer. Many who use the Internet for casual surfing are the most vulnerable because they are usually less in tune with what's going on and how to prevent their machine from being infected.
That's the most dangerous place to be. Check out the following list of invaders.
Vanbot installs itself in the registry to run with each start up. The file is malicious in nature. Its sole purpose is to install malware on your computer. It should be removed at once.
Valcasp Valcasp is a backdoor Trojan. Backdoor Trojans allow attackers access to infected computers. Once a backdoor is open, the attacker can access passwords, files, logins, and personal information. They generally run in the background without user knowledge.
Uskayar is a backdoor Trojan. Backdoor Trojans do a variety of things depending on the need of the attacker. They exploit weaknesses in security and install software for the attacker to use.
Usirf is a backdoor Trojan. It uses legitimate software to install. Then it modifies the software to allow an attacker access to infected computers. Since it uses FTP to "talk" to the attacker, the attacker is limited to sending and receiving files. This does not mean Usirf is not dangerous.
UpRootKit is a root kit Trojan. Root kit Trojans are among the most dangerous Trojans as they have the ability to hide their presence on the computer. Many also come with security systems that prevent the removal.
Simgess is a backdoor trojan that allows a hacker to control a compromised PC from a remote location and use it for malicious or fraudulent intentions. Simgess enables the attacker to access private information, change network settings, modify system files and execute commands. Additional malware may be installed as well, which may make your computer slow or unstable.
SilverFTP is a backdoor trojan that allows an attacker to control a compromised computer from a remote location and use it for malicious intentions. SilverFTP allows the hacker to access private information, change network settings, execute commands and modify or disable system files. Additional malware may be installed as well, making your PC become slow or unstable.
SilentSpy is spyware that allows the hacker to log keystrokes, use your computer for malicious purposes, access private information and modify or disable system files. SilentSpy is a RAT (remote administration tool) that allows the attacker to transfer private information and make changes to the operating system.
This is only a partial list of them but you get the message surely.
Do You Know Anything About Registry Errors?
Where they come from or how they work?
Do you understand about files and errors that can corrupt your system and bring your work to a stop. If you are like me I have no idea what all this means and am grateful that someone else does. Look at the short list below to see how much you understand.
But before you give up if you are receiving registry errors on your computer and need information about the source of the problem, then you must try this program.
The file p2grc.dll is a critical component of Power2Go from CyberLink Corp. This dynamic link library contains pieces of code used by Power2Go that are only loaded into memory when the program needs them. People commonly get an issue with this file after installing other media programs.
The file p2gmvd.ax is a Cyberlink Video Decoder (CLVSD.AX) belonging to Cyberlink PowerDVD from CyberLink Corp. This file may be used by Power2Go. CyberLink is a company that specializes in making video viewing software and programs that can burn those video files to disc. An ax file is a filter belonging to a codec.
The p2gm2spliter.ax file is an MPEG Splitter belonging to PowerDTV from CyberLink Corp. This file may be used by Power2Go. An MPEG Splitter cuts up a large MPEG video file into scenes that can be put on a DVD or VCD. CyberLink designs software tools to help users watch and create videos on disc.
The file p2gm1spliter.ax is an MPEG Splitter component of PowerDTV from CyberLink Corp. An MPEG Splitter divides an MPEG video file into smaller pieces that can be used when making a DVD. If you want to divide a long video into scenes that a viewer can jump to directly you would use a splitter.
The p2glpcmcvrt.ax file belongs to CyberLink LPCM Converter Filter (LPCMCvrt.ax) that works with Power2Go from CyberLink Corp. Power2Go is a program that helps users to burn discs using any media they want.

"Thank you for helping me to get ALL SPYWARE out of my computer and KEEP IT OUT. I found your product over a month ago. I was frantically searching the internet for answers. My 6 month old computer was freezing up many times per day. It was now taking 15 minutes or more to shut down. I had 2 spyware removal programs running on my PC, one free and one of the top 5 spyware removal programs. Both programs stated my system was clean but the problems still persisted. I was ready to surrender my PC to the shop. Since SpyZooka was so affordable and there was a money back guarantee, I decided I would try it. Taking my PC to be diagnosed would cost more. Before installing SpyZooka I ran my other spyware removal. They said system was 'CLEAN'. I installed SpyZooka and ran a scan. It worked flawlessly. SpyZooka found spyware on my 'CLEAN' PC and removed it without incident. My PC runs better than new. With SpyZooka always running and daily scans my PC continues to perform GREAT. Thank you for offering SpyZooka at such a reasonable price. You saved me the cost of a service bill and tons of frustration."
Jodi, Michigan.

About BluePenguin Software
I remember that day well. It was July 15, 2004 when my PC was attacked, hacked - I didn't even know what to call it back then. All I knew was that suddenly there was this "thing" on my computer.
Suddenly, my fast PC became sluggish and began assaulting me with annoying and sometimes disgusting popups.
I did some research and discovered that the industry term for this was "spyware". So I installed a couple of free spyware remover programs that promised to remove spyware and malware. When the free spyware remover didn't work, I downloaded some expensive software that again promised to remove the spyware and saw no improvement. In fact, nothing worked. I wasted hours on this infestation. I ended up having to wipe my hard drive clean, removing all the good files along with the bad.
That's when I had an idea to create the first anti spyware software that removes 100% of the spyware and malware from your PC, so I started BluePenguin Software. Our mission is to create software that actually does what it's supposed to do. Call me crazy, but I believe that when you buy a spyware remover, it should remove 100% of the spyware and malware on your PC. No other anti spyware software can do this.
With this novel concept, we created one of the most highly awarded spyware removers on the market today. And the only software that guarantees 100% spyware removal.
But if you prefer complex spyware removers made simple, personal support you can understand, and a product that does what it says it will do - download SpyZooka spyware remover software today.
And if you're not happy you can have your money back. How's that for plain English?
We are here 24/7 to help you with any questions you may have about SpyZooka anti spyware or spyware removal, in general. I even answer emails personally at times.

Jayhopson says:
you betcha.... it is very important!
No, free is best. At least you are not out of pocket if the thing dosn't work.
Cinetech says:
My best option is to keep away from unknown sites and filtered unwanted emails. As you said, anti-virus software do not protect. I'm a little worry of registry cleaners.
prosperity66 says:
At the moment, free is for me the best option but I might think of paying if needed in the future, of course! Protecting my assets is more important than anything else - especially if my job is concerned!

- I agree that it is irresponsible NOT to have some virus and spyware protection on your computer. I use both hardware and software for protection. And not only that... I try to avoid unknown websites and don't open any emails from unknown senders. And definitely, never, EVER click on a email link that leads you to a fake site.
Cheers,
Matt

- One of the hardest aspects of being online using a computer at home is to be constantly vigilant on ensuring we are all protected from internet nasties, as the protection software improves, so does the nasties they are meant to stop. Good food for thought here :)
