Can we talk? We can. Lloyd Boston can. Lloyd's a fashion guru and preceded me recently on Let's Talk Live on TBD TV in Washington, opining about what's sheik and what's shocking in women's clothes, and declaring unequivocally that, "Real men do wear pink."

I, meanwhile, was backstage, a little nervous, wearing black and gray without a hint of pink, and trying to keep my talking points straight about Bella. When Lloyd approached between segments, we introduced ourselves and shook hands. He looked me up and down, did a quick analysis, and said summarily, "Good look for you."

From there, the talking was easy. Spirited host Natasha Barrett knows the art of interviewing and kept the conversation alive and flowing. Five minutes on air came and went before I knew it.
