How to Get Your Ex Back

So you've found your way to this end of the web and it's probably the last place you wanted to be, but I guess desparate times call for desparate measures.

Recently you came out of a bad break up and your heart is crying for your ex back.

Draw a line right down the middle and write at the top 'Pros' and 'Cons' in their own column. List all the positives of getting back in the relationship under PROS and all the negatives under CONS.

Jot down as many as you can think of for both, but please be as honest with yourself as possible. Why do you want to be in a relationship that fell apart? Was the reasons something trivial like not washing up the dishes for the 7th time in a row? Or something big like differing life goals. Once your list is done you'll be able to see the answer in front of you.

What were some of their reasons? If they were harsh and didn't disclose a reason at all here are some possible reasons:

1. They found someone else. This other person could be MORE loving, MORE compatible and MORE compromising with them AT THIS MOMENT but that does NOT mean this other person has anything over you in the long run.

2. Personality clash. They think you're too clingy, too rude, too inconsiderate, too whatever for them. If this is the case find out WHAT exactly it is but know that if it's a compatibility issue, there's not much you can do about it, you're you and it's pretty hard to change who you are.

3. Annoying traits. Less impacting than the personality clash, this one you can change at least. This could be smoking, drinking, partying too much, hanging out with wrong people etc. Figure out what it is and consider if you're willing to change it PERMANENTLY for them.

4. They just want to be single, perhaps to see what else is out there. Usually this happens to people in their early 20s, they've been with the same person for 4-5 years and they're already feeling like an old married couple.

Are there signs they might want you back?

Now if you're 100% sure you ">want your ex back, now consider if YOU are your ex, would YOU want you back? Try to be honest here. If not, why not? Is there something you might need to change or improve?
