I'm not much for a book telling me how to fish. I either hear it from the horses mouth, or I find out on the water.

However, my friend Rodney sent me a link to the electronic book on bass fishing called "Top Secret Pro-Bass Fishing Techniques Exposed" and nudged me till I bout it.

I'll be honest, the title of the book kind of turned me off, so I wasn't expecting much.

Boy was I wrong. I bought this book on a Tuesday morning and finished it twice by that night. That dang thing is packed with stuff that I never would have thought of. I know it's written by a couple of boys that really know what they're talking about.

That same week after reading this book on my computer I landed my biggest bass I had ever caught in Michigan (just uunder 7.5 pounds!). I caught it using the tips from this book.

I don't know about you other Anglers, but it took me 5 years of hardcore baitcasting before I relaized that the Mister Twister lure is by far the most amazing lure for landing big old large mouth bass.

I'm not talking about anything fancy, just look at the picture. Just a single tail white (yellow or black work well too) Mister twister with a medium sized head (same color) and attached hook do the job.

This bait works in deep water, shallow water, and even through the weeds if you're careful.

Best Bass caught on this lure: 12pounds 4ounces in Florida and 7 pounds 7 ounces in Michigan. Not too shabby!

I've caught some big boys in my time, but this guys 25.1 pound largemouth bass is more than double my biggest. Take a look at that monster.

The fisherman's name is Mac Weakley, and he ended up releasing the bass. What a guy!

He caught the largemouth bass on a white jig with a skirt and rattle. He also manage to rake that bad boy in on 15-pound test line.
