Get More Traffic On Twitter and Automate Tweets

Wouldn't it be nice to get more traffic on twitter. its easy to sign up to Twitter - but then what? You do post after post which no-one really looks at because they are not particularly interested in your niche. Wouldnt it be nice to have followers who are interested in what you are tweeting about in the first place?
I don't spend a lot of time on Twitter now that I have over 4000 followers because the people start to follow you more when you have a decent number of followers. I have all my tweets automated so a post on my blog is automatically tweeted about and I have a few feeds set up that tweet regularly.
In this lens we concentrate on getting more followers and on automating tweets.
Getting the Most Out of Twitter
Twitter provides heaps of potential for businesses or online marketers. We are hearing people talk about Twitter on the radio, on tv - its the in thing! Social networking is the new google. The great thing is, its so easy. You dont have to spend hours on blogs, articles etc - just a couple of lines here and there and BAM!
If you have a Twitter account with less than 1000 followers then you will not be seen as a real player on the internet - it doesn't give you much credit. Now that I have over 4000 followers, I love the fact that I can more or less leave it all to run itself if I like and just visit whenever I feel like tweeting something that has just happened or I even visit Twitter to get an answer to a question. Try it - if you have a question, Tweet it and within seconds you will get an answer.
Dont forget to tweet all your squidoo and blog updates. Dont let your work go un-noticed. You can set this up to be automated.

- i have over 10.000 followers and i use it all the time its great just pick the people who like the same as you in any field and you can go wrong, great lens by the way

- As good as twitter can be for marketing, it's even a more powerful listening device. Seek out marketing gurus and listen to their best tips and read up on their best finds in real time. Narrowing your follow list (or using lists!) is a great way to achieve this.
Great lens, good work. I wrote up a twitter tutorial a while back when I was first using it. The power in twitter comes from identifying who are the people who regularly listen to your tweets. They respond, retweet and generally engage with the content you share.
Even only a dozen actually listeners (super fans), can have a much bigger impact than many thousands of folks who follow back as a courtesy, then split their attention to thousands of others.
