Thanks for the info. It's an unfortunate side effect of bringing new life into the world. But well worth it when you see that beautiful bundle of joy that you nurtured inside you for 9 months.

Stretch marks happen because the skin gets pushed beyond its natural stretching threshold, and that results in hundreds little rips across the stomach area. They eventually heal but turn into a pattern of tiny scars and viola! Instant stretch marks.
