Using Get Satisfaction to create a Business support community

All companies should provide customer services. This can be my direct one to one by telephone or email. The problem is if the same question is made a few days later, the same procedure has to be done again. Another method is to provide a support Blog, not very customer friendly. FAQ's are a good idea, but need to be updated with new questions and answers.

A solution to providing good customer service is to create an online community that lets customers and visitors ask a question and company staff or other people provide the answers. It is in effect, a live FAQ area.

As you can see from the poor results, customer service is not a high priority. Shame really, as it sets your company apart from the other has been's. See some other Lens that deal with customer service below.

What makes this company very special, is the support. I received a phone call from the company based in San Francisco, was I happy with the product, could they help with anything. How many companies care that much?

Customer support is vital

There are many versions of customer support, from managing business Blogs and Forums, using YouTube to explain or show how a product works, Public relations cover offer company newsletters. Ebay is also a customer support solution. You be surprised what your customers now expect.
