- Nice lens, It probably is generating some revenue for you. I believe the money is in selling the how-to instructions rather than actually doing the surveys! As a member of several "paid survey" sites that I can't really promote taking surveys as a real income generator. Over the past year I have found that most survey sites want to enter you into a sweepstakes or pay less than a decent hourly average. I just will not participate in a survey that pays 3.00 for 25 minutes work.
