I had a miscarriage last April, fibrods was the problem, they were removed in February. now i am pregnant and i want to be carefull. my worrie is my work condition, i travel a lot by car two or three times a week, those times i dont have time to rest, mostly going without lunch to rest, eating as I work. do i have anything to worry epecially in my 1st trimester

I have had 8 miscarriages. 7 consecutive since 2010, and 1 in 2007 before my last son was born. I have had 3 full term pregnancies resulting in 4 kids (twins). I am currently pregnant for the 12th time, and I am praying this one is sticky! I havent been pregnant in a year and havent been preventing either. I am wanting another child so badly, I just pray this one is our rainbow baby! I dont understand what happened after my last son to cause 7 miscarriages in a row. I had 2 pregnancies 3 months apart resulting in 3 kids, then a miscarriage, then another pregnancy resulting in another child, and since then havent been able to stay pregnant. I had my levels drawn and so far everything looks great, so I am hoping!

I had 3 miscarriages last year (the 1st one was ectopic and resulted in emergency surgery). The 2nd one was a messy spontaneous miscarriage days before the 2nd trimester. The 3rd one happened just before Christmas. My husband and I are not actively trying right now. I'm just not ready and not excited about the potential for yet another miscarriage. Nice page with lots of great information.

In the UK, the Drs won't do anything because I only had one miscarriage. So sadly they want women to have at least 3 before they will investigate it. I do hope that I won't have any other. I do have fibroids and I was told that it does not cause miscarriage! I am seeing a specialist in a week time.

I just recently had my 4 misccarriage... 1 eptopic, I just learned i am pregant with the 6 pregancy.. please pray I carry full term.

I have had one confirmed (by a scan and blood tests) MC at 8 weeks and also several early MC from 4 to 5 weeks. I have been trying for 13 months and even though that may not be long I am already getting to the point of not being able to carry on. The feeling that i am losing another chance to be a mum every single month is killing me. Can I insist that my doctor does tests or do I have to just wait like they keep telling me? My husband already has two children from a previous relationship so I know it is me and not him and this is killing me even more. I know that I shoudn't give up hope or stress too much but that seems like an impossible task right now and its certainly easier said than done! I dont know where to turn now, can anyone give me some advice??

I quit smoking the whole of my 2nd pregnancy, but officially stop smoking period in March 2011 and I've got to say I'm a much healthier person for having quit before anything bad happened, other than having 1 miscarriage due to smoking and bad teeth.

Tried the Doctors they seem not to care. The one said ''I can not see why you should not be pregnant soon'' That was over 2 months ago. Its annoying because I want tests done they don't want to know.... How ever great Lens enjoyed reading it

I lost my twins on the 13th Dec and am finding hard to get my head around. We still havn't fallen again yet and so worried it will take me 18 months like before. I am now 39 and my partner 43. How can I stop thinking about this 24/7????

I had a miscarriage before being successfully pregnant with my nearly 2 year old daughter but then had another this last august. I'm currently 4 weeks pregnant and very happy but also concerned. I'm being restful, hydrated, as little stressed as possible and taking vitamins and trying to eat well but i need to know if there is anything more i can do for my unborn child to give them a better chance.

im 20 almost 21 years old! i miscarried back in december and i found out about a week ago that i am a month pregnant again. and it kinda scares me a little because there wasnt that much time in between concieving! is there a chance ill carry full term?

I am 38 and was married for the first time in 2009. We conceived in July of 2010 and I had never been pregnant until then and I have no biological children. That pregnancy ended in a MC. I went to my regularly scheduled appt at 15 weeks and there was no heartbeat. Baby measured 10 weeks 4 days. I have had 2 more MC since then. My 2nd pregnancy was in October of 2011. MC at 5 weeks. My 3rd pregnancy was just this past December 2011. MC at 1 day shy of 5 weeks. Its heartbreaking but I am seeking the advice of my alternative doctor and my medical doctor. Just went yesterday and my OB is starting all kinds of blood panels and cultures. I am hoping its something treatable because I do not have any children of my own and have always wanted to be a Mommy. I do have a thyroid condition and my gut feeling tells me that is the culprit. I have begun a regimin for natural progesterone as my alternative doctor believes that the lack of it is the cause. We shall see. I am one of those who is almost obsessed at this point because lets face it, I am not getting any younger. My condolences to all who have suffered losses, it is extremely difficult. I am not losing hope just yet, although I must say it gets harder and harder. Good luck to all :)

Thank you for sharing your experience RL and I am glad you are not losing hope. I am even more glad to hear that your thyroid might be the issue. go check your thyroid!!! most women with a thyroid condition are unable to conceive or to carry the pregnancy through if untreated. the good news is a large number of women become pregnant within the first 3 months after starting the thyroid medication and have healthy babies. also it is very important that you keep checking your thyroid levels throughout your pregnancy as you will have to keep taking the thyroid meds while your are pregnant and the dose may have to be adjusted. hope this is the answer to your problem. Hi, Everyone
My husband and i have been together for 22 years and have two beautiful teen age children.We have always wantened moor children so we were extatic when in Aug 09 we found out we were pregnant.Oh how excited we were we imedietally told our family and they all shared in our excitment..It was short lived though because on the 28 of sept i wok up to brown spotting when i wiped.I was told not to worry well the next morrning it had gotten much worse and we headed to the ER.For the moment all was ok my cervix was closed so we went home and prayed for the best.Unfortunitaly we lost our baby on oct 1st.Now we jump ahead to dec. 2011 we were booked for our vacation at the same time my Af was suposed to show up if it came on time(I have been irregular sence my m/c)When it wasnt here by christmas i was suspectig i could be preg.so i told my husband.We were so thrilled we were scared of a m/c and waited a while to test .When we passed the time of lastm/c we scedualed a dr.I was 9 weeks 2 days .We wanted the world to know.Our names were picked our plans were made and we even started to get our baby gear.At 9 weeks 4 days at 10;00 in the morning i went to the bathroom and when i wiped there was the most feered pink blood,tears instantly rolled down my face and i called the dr. she said that it sounded ok.and to lay down.My husband came home and all we could do was pray and wait.The next day I had cramps and moor blood and to the ER we went the dr. said that our baby died about a week earlyer and all i had left to pass was the placenta.I have now passed it and do not need a d&c.I feel so horrable and emty my last m/c was hard but this time i am constantly crying and cant understand why this is happening it is so hard when people around us that have never had this happen act like they now what it feels like to lose a preciuse little life.I sorry for my spelling errors i have been crying and am not typing or spelling wel.In some way writing this has helped me some just to get it out.I am so sorry for any one who is going through this or has gone through this i wouldnt wish this on my worst enimy.

Hello, I am so sorry to hear about your repeated miscarriages but have you and your partner had a thorough medical examination because it is important to rule out any medical condition that may be the root cause of your losses. If you are both medically sound then you may want to try alternative therapy. Good luck and I will pray for you.
