While you are separated be absolutely sure you do not do ANY of the following things, because they will damage your efforts at getting back together:
- Do not contact your ex for 30 total days. I know you are thinking "That is way too long!" We will discuss in a few minutes what you will be doing for that 30 days.
- Do not contact means ==> DO NOT CONTACT THEM! I put that in red, so you would see how important it is! No phone calls. No texting, emailing, IMs, or letters dropped by carrier doves :o) Trust me, there is a reason.
- Do not get your friends to call them either.
- Do not call their friends or family.
- Do not spy on them or have your friends spy on them.
- Do not just happen to show up at places you know they will be.
- Do not send them gifts.
- Do not call their home and hung up to see who answers.
- Do not talk badly about your ex. Only say good things, because it could get back to them. Words have a way of doing that, especially the bad ones.
Make sure you follow this list, because not doing the above things are going to help you immensely in your efforts at getting back together.
