Why Tips Alcohol Certification

TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) is the global leader in education and training for the responsible service, sale, and consumption of alcohol. TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) is a dynamic, skills-based training program designed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking by enhancing the fundamental "people skills" of servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol. TIPS gives individuals the knowledge and confidence they need to recognize potential alcohol-related problems and intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies.

Even when alcohol is sold "to go," employees may encounter alcohol-related problems. Finding the time and money to train your clerks on strategies to prevent selling alcohol to underage or intoxicated customers is a challenge

In addition to preventing the illegal sale of alcohol, store employees learn how to handle intoxicated customers and keep them from harming themselves and others. The intervention techniques reflect the short period of time a clerk has to interact with a customer.

Through thought-provoking video clips, TIPS challenges sellers to evaluate and re-evaluate the way they manage their customers. The flexibility of TIPS makes it an ideal solution for employees and employers with busy schedules.

A photo compilation of individuals killed by drunk drivers (almost all of the victims were 18-24 years old when they were killed). The compilation was put together by a college professor after losing yet another student in a drunk driving accident. All pictures courtesy of MADD. The background song is by Belgian group Clouseau ("Ik wil niet dat je weggaat" ["I don't want you to go away"]). Addendum 1: Some viewers have questioned the authenticity of the photos. I'd like to question in return: Why should I use FAKE photos, considering the photos of drunk driving victims are readily available? All photos were taken from the MADD database. Addendum 2: Please keep your immaturities to yourself. I will delete all rude and/or inappropriate comments.
