Social bookmarking, can provide the most amount of traffic in the shortest amount of time. Site's that appear on the front of sites such as Digg.com can get as much as 2000 visitors per day just from that! So how do you achieve this? Getting to the front of digg.com and other social bookmarking sites require you to have a article that no one else has. It must provide controversy and debates so people vote for your article to help it achieve the front page. Article writing, can help towards getting you traffic but is mainly done to get high quality back links so you get more organic traffic. I would suggest writing unique articles and not copy articles otherwise it will be a waster of your time and it will infuriate the owner of the article!! Video Submission to top video sites, If you have a site that has a free resource for users then this is a very good method. Say i have a Lens that offers free pictures. Then i can make a high quality video with my top 10 photos and post it on youtube with a link back to my Lens on the actual video and in the video description. You will notice site like google videos and others will copy that video and it will be distributed around the web and can bring in lots of visitors to your Lens. My Lens currently gets around 100 views per week just from video sites!
