Therefore, as a game tester there is a certain skill set that you need to have. Sure, passion comes first and the love of video games will help anyone in this field, but you also need hard skills. By that, i mean skills that will help you easily communicate such as writing.You must be able to write a detailed report about your gaming experiences and give special note to areas where you found possible bugs and glitches in the game. It's very important to not where and when these glitches happen so that the person fixing these things knows exactly which part he needs to rewrite or debug, reform, or any other fancy word... you get the point.
Another skill that will be very useful is the skill of team work. You might work with a team of other people as you come together to get a game prepared to be released for the public and you basically have to be nice to everyone you talk to and just use good oral skill with anything that you need to say. This is a real job and you may have to play video games even if you feel like doing other things like math homework, collecting frogs, or whatever strange hobbies your parents happened to instill upon you.
Your attitude should be one of continuous learning and you should always be adding more video game testing jobs to your resume. This type of job is for people over 18, although it may be possible to get a less serious type of job for a person
