Ghost Adventures on The Travel Channel
Ghost Adventures airs every Friday 9:00 pm on The Travel Channel. The crew, Zak, Nick and Aaron, go to different haunting locations to try to get some real evidence of the paranormal.
After some interviews with the owners and witnesses, the crew go to lock-down, where they stay in the location from dust to dawn. Sometimes they hardly even make the night!

Ghost Adventures is a one-hour weekly American paranormal reality television series that premiered on October 17, 2008, on the Travel Channel. The program features ghost hunters Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin, who investigate places that are reported to be haunted. The show is based on a documentary film filmed in 2004 and produced in 2006. The Sci-Fi Channel presented 4Reel Productions' Ghost Adventures: The Documentary Film in 2006. The documentary centers on the three's investigation into alleged paranormal activity in and around Virginia City, Nevada, which the crew returned to on the third season of the series. The film also received several awards, including the 2006 Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival,"September 2006 List of New York IIFVF Winners" and will be released on DVD soon.http://www.executiveservers.com/ghostadventures-com/gac-film.php

Zak Bagans
Zak, the host and lead investigator, always believed in the existence of the supernatural because of a personal encounter with a ghost. He is determined to prove that ghost do exists and that there is life after death.After graduating from a school of films in Michigan, he moved to Las Vegas to pursue a career in documentary filming, and that's where he met his two other members, Nick and Aaron. They all got together and film their first documentary on the paranormal. They received awards for the documentary and it was broadcast on TV.
Nick Groff
Nick is the co-founder of the Ghost Adventures Crew. He met Zak and Aaron in Nevada, where their first documentary was filmed.Nick has great experience in detecting instrumentation and he goes into lockdowns on some of the most frighting places in the world.
Aaron Goodwin
With more than 9 years of film experience, where Aaron worked for several TV shows and re carpet projects, he is always with a camera on hand.Aaron taught himself how to edit and use a camera. He has a passion for filming. He joined the crew of Ghost Adventures and he travels to some of the most haunting places in the world.

- Bobby Mackey's Music World
- Some people still believe the building's basement holds the gateway or portal to Hell itself -- a reference to the long-abandoned slaughterhouse well.
- Houghton Mansion
- A Mason at the lodge for 28 years has never seen anything, but he's definitely heard a few unexplained things. His most profound experience occurred on the second floor in the records room.
- Moundsville State Penitentiary
- There's a shadow man that has been seen and even photographed. Staff of the prison have been accosted by unseen forces. Strange noises still echo throughout the cell blocks, and something dark lurks in the bowels of the building.
- Riddle House
- Places can hold memories long after the inhabitants have moved on. Even when relocated entirely, some entities are bound to the structures around them. The reasons why may forever remain a riddle.
- Sloss Furnaces
- At night, this old building, now a national landmark, still echoes with noises from its perilous past. Screams are heard, apparitions are seen, and on the second floor of the Blower Building, there's the sinister presence known as "Slag," an overly cruel foreman who can still be heard belittling his crew.
- Abandoned NJ Psychiatric Hospital
- For years, stories have circulated regarding the haunting of the hospital that witnessed patient abuse, neglect and barbaric treatments. Disembodied voices echo through the empty hallways, and locals say a fireman who died there after a tragic fall haunts the firehouse.
- Edinburgh Vaults
- With dozens of other deaths due to disease and crime, the vaults under South Bridge remain one of the world's most haunted places. Experience the mystery of the South Bridge tunnels yourself on one of their guided tours -- you may just meet Jack or Mr. Boots.
- Old Idaho Penitentiary
- There have been many accounts of unusual happenings in the prison complex, but 5 House, the building where Snowden was executed, seems to be the most active. Some speculate Snowden's spirit never left -- haunting the grounds since that October morning in 1957.

- Castillo de San Marcos

- La Purisima Mission

- Magnolia Plantation
- Ghostly apparitions are seen in the main house along with the sounds of disembodied voices. The large evidence of dark voodoo combined with this plantation's sordid history make it one of the most haunted places in the Southern United States.
- Bird Cage Theater
- Visitors and employees of the Bird Cage Theater have reported seeing the spirits of former prostitutes and men in cowboy hats. Some claim to have been touched and pushed by unseen forces. At night, the sounds of laughter, yelling and music have been heard, as though the parties of the Old West were still raging.
- Eastern State Penitentiary
- Considered to be one of the most haunted locations in the world, Eastern State Penitentiary first opened its doors in 1829.
- Moon River Brewing Company
- A glowing white apparition has reportedly been seen on the restaurant's upper floors and is believed to be the spirit of a hotel worker who died there in the late 1800s. In the 1990s during an attempt to renovate the building's third floor, the foreman's wife was violently pushed down the staircase.
- Ancient Ram Inn
- John Humphries claims that he continues to be haunted and attacked by the violent entities residing in the Ancient Ram Inn.

Ghost Adventures LIVE at The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum
On Oct. 30 the Ghost Adventures crew , Zak, Nick and Aaron, will lock themselves in one of America's most haunted locations for the most exciting LIVE paranormal investigation ever attempted. The Ghost Adventures team will have unprecedented access to the entire asylum from the seclusion cells where the most violent patients were shackled to the medical center where hundreds of primitive ice-pick lobotomies were performed.
As always the team will be locked inside the facility, from dust till dawn, unable to escape as they record their experiences. To help in their investigation, they will be calling on both paranormal and technical experts.
The viewers at home will have complete access to the investigation on air and online as it occurs. They can monitor webcams throughout the building, chat with the guys during the lockdown, post messages on the bulletin board and send mobile text messages.
