Ghostbusters Halloween Costumes

Parapsychologists Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, and Egon Spengler establish their own paranormal exterminator service, becoming the Ghostsbusters. At first laughed at and thought of as shams, the guys establish their reputation and start removing the pesky ghosts that haunt New York City. Everybody gets Ghostbuster fever!

Joined by Winston Zeddemore, the Ghostbusters take on the especially creepy case of Dana Barrett. Her apartment at 55 Central Park West is being haunted by a particularly nasty demonic spirit named Zuul. In the end, it's the boys verses the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and a whole city full of pesky poltergeists!

The paranormal comedy became a smash hit when it hit theaters in June 1984. Soon a Saturday morning cartoon followed, as well as tons of merchandise and toys. Any child who grew up in the 1980s remembers the Ghostbusters!

In 1989 a sequel, Ghostbusters II was released. This time, after falling on hard times, the boys reunite and strap on their proton packs to do battle with the spirit of Vigo the Carpathian. A river of slime, a haunted painting, and Dana Barrett's son all come in to play as the Ghostbusters fight to save the day!
