HERE'S WHAT I THINK

Ghosts do exist

I believe in ghosts. It is something that I have experienced myself, so it is not through second-hand stories or things seen on TV, it is 100% experience by me.

What I really hate is when people just turn their nose up in the air about this topic, and say things like, 'It's all in the mind', 'It doesn't exist', 'It's made for TV'. Why then do so many people believe in ghosts and the paranornal etc? The subjet has been debated for who knows how long now and is something that has crossed worlds, religions and beliefs.

I say you cannot say that ghosts do not exist as there is no evidence to say they don't, only evidence to say that they do.

While I can vent my anger about certain points of this topic, I will mention certain programmes that go searching for ghosts. What a load of old codswallop. Now this will sound wierd, but I am a beleiver who is sceptic when it comes to these programmes. They just play on peoples fears and use the natural sounds of a house, ie heating, creaking floorboards etc, and have the nerve to say it's a message from the other side. These programmes, the presenters and guests just give believers and the truth a bad name. Please tell me of your experiences, you may have been to an event and found it to be 100% real. All comments will be appreciated.

WHERE ARE YOU?

And no I'm not talking to a ghost

Come on people, I am calling out to you.
I want to hear from anyone and everyone. Whether you believe or not, I want you to put your point across and share you ideas.
Please will someone make a comment as I am beginning to think that no one ever reads anything of this site, so someone, anyone, please put me straight.
I want this to be a frank and honest exchange of ideas, thoughts and beliefs. I can only write so much until people write things in the guestbook.
If it starts an argument or two, well it might be fun.
COME ON PEOPLE!

A few different pictures for you to view, not just of ghosts, but the paranormal

These pictures are of differing ages. I know that not all pictures are real, some people choose to fake them, but I always believe that the older the picture is the more chance there is of it being real.
Here's one for you to think about. How many times have you taken a photo and dismissed a shadow, smoke or strange ball of light as a mark on the film, or caused by lighting? Bet your look through your photo albums now.

Ghostly experiences

One thing that happened to me was a dream I had after my Grandad had died. He was in it, but he was still dead and he took me on tour of a flat. He told me that my Nan was going to move here and that she'd be very happy and that it would be the only place she would live. It was an old folks flat in sheltered accomodation, and he even explained what things would be available to my Nan, like painting lessons. I remember in the dream I felt very safe and protected. I was not at all afraid of my Grandad and I knew that he was a ghost showing me a glimpe of the future. I never told my parents or my Nan as I didn't want to upset anyone. Months later I was told that my Nan was moving and we would be visiting her the following week in her new home. Well, I didn't know what to say as it was the flat that my Grandad showed me. Then about a year later my Nan even took up painting, something she had never showed any interest in. One of the strange things about the dream was when I woke up the events of the dream were so clear in my head and I felt as if I had actually been to where the flat was. Even now I still cannot understand it.

Flashes of light

Now it may be nothing but its got me perplexed

For about a year I have had a 3-D star just sitting on the window sill. It is one that flashes about 5 different colours and is battery operated.
On the 3rd April this year when I was watching Flash Gordon the new series I noticed something at the window. The light was gently pulsing. It went on for about 2 minutes and then nothing. Every single night it kept doing this. Sometimes it would just flash once or twice, sometimes up to 20 minutes. Most nights it happened quite a few times. It would sometimes just be a gentle pulse, that you could hardly see and then sometimes it would be as that bright it was as if I had actual switched it on.
It only happend at night. You may think it must have happened in the day and that I didn't notice due to the light, but I get up about 6.40am and the days haven't been that light lately.
The 14th April is the last time it has happened, and I am still wondering about it.
It could be faulty wires, but does that still apply to battery powered lights?
Bet I've got you wondering. Any ideas will be greatfully received on my comments page, or maybe you have a similar tale.

Great Stuff on Amazon

Had a better look round the site and found some good stuff.

Found some items to do with the actual detection of ghosts, the EMF meter and the book how to be a Ghost Hunter. Think they will be a good start for anyone.
I included the magazine, Fortean Times, as it is a fave of mine and I have read a few issues in the past, and I have even watched a TV show of the same name. I enjoy how it looks at the whole spectrum of the weird and wonderful supernatural world, I can guarantee that theres something for everyone.
Have a browse on the site for more in depth info, there is not enough room to write everything here.

I too have had many experiences that can not be explained that I firmly believe were paranormal experiences. I feel as you do that it is disturbing when people respond this to topic that communicates that it is bizarre or absurd to believe this. On the contrary it is bizarre to believe that we are all knowing and everything can be proved by science. So much of scientific fact from the past is now known to be absurd.

My husband is a skeptic that is one of these people that does not believe in anything not proved by science. He accompanied me on 1 of my attempts to explore a place that I felt was spiritual. As soon as we arrived a Strong feeling came over me and I told him pointedly to park his car AGAINST a tree. He has the typical husband condition of not listening and he parked several ft from the tree. lol Immediately when we stepped out of the car it slammed against the tree The look on his face when he witnessed this made it appear that he was a True Believer. lol Great lens!
