Giada De Laurentiis (born August 22, 1970) is an Italian-American chef, currently host of the Food Network program Everyday Italian. De Laurentiis studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France before becoming a professional chef, working in several Los Angeles restaurants, including Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In addition to her cooking show, De Laurentiis has appeared on several Food Network specials.

- A private chef and caterer in Los Angeles, Giada (pronounced Jah-dah) had no intention of getting into the family business of entertaining (she is the granddaughter of the famous producer Dino de Laurentiis).
