Giano

PNG PRODUCTIONZ is comprised of two members: Prophetik N (and) Giano. The group formed in Orlando, FL in 1995 on the quest to put out a product that would give the complete circle of hip-hop music: beats, rhymes, life, and skills. However, the providence of God in circumstances kept them from getting to the next level.

In 1998, both members decided to surrender their hearts and lives over to Christ; and in doing so, they both agreed that their new Christian lifestyles were not conducive to the music that they were making. Thus, they gave up doing music totally, choosing to read and study the Word deeper for themselves in order to elevate their minds more spiritually and if it was God's will, they would return to the music if and when they could devote all their energy and talents to the Lord and not for self-glorification.

In 1999, after a time of hiatus in studying the Word, and many hours of prayer, P and G decided to journey once again with music, but now according to terms that were more pleasing in God's site. Now, through personal testimony and continual study of the Scriptures, they endeavor to bring to the world what was brought to them: serenity and spiritual strength in Christ, through the ministry of song.

In July of 2003 PNG Productionz put out an underground EP, entitled, The Element, which symbolized a piece of the elements of music and culture that were missing from the contemporary art of hip hop as it is today. The following year, PNG decided to recompile some of the songs from The Element and add some additional previously unreleased recordings, spawning the Element II. Currently, PNG are working on their full length release, Exegesis, Living Music, and waiting on the Lord to place them in the best situations where they can do His will and best represent the cause of Jesus Christ. The first release on the official label was the debut solo album from lead emcee Giano entitled, "R.O.M. 7 (Reason of Ministry)", which dropped in September of 2006.

"It's not about the fame, cuz if that's the case, then we're really barking up the wrong tree!" says Giano about PNG's goals, "It's about the message through the avenue of rap music. Hip Hop is everywhere and we loved it. However, we have a new found love, and that love keeps being increased each day. That's something you can't get from the world. Satan only knows how to perfect the old. He can't create anything new. He can only get us hyped and excited for a moment, but then leave us with a void that still needs to be filled. It's like waiting in line at an amusement park ride for like an hour, only for the ride to start and be finished in 5 minutes. It's all temporary. What Jesus Christ gives us is eternal. The love He has for us is immeasurable, incomparable to anything we could ever experience. That's why we do this. Someone is going to help finish this work and hasten our Lord's coming and tell of His love, why can't it be me? Why can't it be you? We know that if we don't, the rocks will cry out, and heaven forbid an inanimate object should have to speak for me, whose life was purchased by the Rock of Ages!
