Who would win in a fight? Giant Squid vs. Shark

HERE'S WHAT I THINK

The giant squid and the shark are fairly well matched. They are both in the same weight class and they both are expert swimmers.

Unfortunately for the giant squid, the shark has one major advantage: sharp teeth. I mean REALLY sharp teeth. And he knows how to use them.

Giant squid have been heavily mythologized. In reality, a giant squid is a fraction of the size of a great white shark, even a colossal squid which is much bigger, is only a fraction of the size. In fact, Pacific sleeper sharks, smaller than great whites but still pretty big, prey on both these squid.
