    I'm a long way from Giant, but now that I've gotten my # of lenses done into the 'double-digits' (11) I've decided it was time to check out what it meant to be a Giant. Thanks for all the information. I know I will refer to it often as I progress and continue on my Squidoo journey. Working toward Giant is like following the rainbow to the pot of gold!

    Hi,
    I'm looking for the best place to ask my question. I have some lenses I created over a year ago. I have been absent on Squidoo for a while and see things have changed. When I try to edit and update my work I get a spam filter page.

    My question is, how do I know what topics are of limits--besides the reference to illegal activities, such as drug use, hacking, etc., or promotion of ways to get around illegal activities, gambling,etc.

    My lenses were written on network marketing and ann sieg just after her e-book was published. It is very poppular now. Has that made the subject forbidden?

    I don't have more that 9 urs's or 3 to the same domain--I am going back to check--where can I go to figure out what is wrong wo I can fix it?

    Can you tell me why my view count on all of my lenses just went to zero? I've been working really hard the past couple days promoting them in discussion forums and on other sites and i was getting a few readers but now they all went to zero so all of my hard work has disappeared? hippiehodgepodge@yahoo.com thanks so much!

    Thank you for awesome giant tip great lens for setting upmy squidoo system.i remember trying this system early in the yr and didnt get anywhere because i didnt read it properly,but this time i take it serious becaue i see a lot of people benfiting from it so i decided to give it a good try to see now if it will work for me.so sat in front of my laptop and start my journey, what i found was some very very good advice,and this will help a lot of people to understand the internet business better and they will enjoythe fun of squidooso i encourageeveryone to go http://www.squidoo.com an give it a try.

    Thanks Robin! Very cool to be a giant squid. "Redneck Martha", who was born here on Squidoo, will wear her new Giant shirt with pride and stains~ but she'll be sure to flick off the crumbs if the doorbell rings -:) What a fun place this is.     In your "we are giants" video... There's a dog who made giant squid....

    Can you point me to that dogs lenses and is the dog owner making millions off of having the only dog to make giant squid status? (much less being the only dog to writing anything at all...)

    Excellent tips and information. I am in Panic mode. I have 56 lenses and applied for Giant Squid. Do I have to wait until after June 30th to see if I made it? Where can I find some giants to look over my lenses and let me know, which ones need work?

    Wonderful info. I believe I have done just about all I can to qualify for Giant status, but we will see I guess. Since I had joined Kab's Squid Squad for the Giant competition, I'm wondering if Kab will nominate me or if I should send a link to my lensmaster page to giant@squidoo.com. I'm just kind of uncertain as to the protocol in this. I do hope they deem me worthy and if not, then I guess I will just have to do better. I am currently at 65 rated lenses and plan on shooting for 100 within the next 6 months. By the way, I really appreciated the kind comments you sent me, but I hope you can take a moment to come to my Squidoo Cancer Forum and leave some words of encouragement for both "alteredkat" and "blue22d." I would appreciate that even more. Thanx a bunch!

    Thanks for this RMS. I have a way to go (20 more lenses) but this is inspiration to keep on going. Now to motivate myself - finish those "under construction" (there are 3) or make a new one? I have sometimes made a new one in a few hours, but the under construction ones are clearly going to take more than a few days because of the research they require.

    thank you so much for noticing my "All Natural Perfume" lense.
    I work very hard to try to get them just right and I am always tweaking them to make them better too.

    I have 15 lenses now and would love to be a Giant Squid one of these days.
    I doubt very much I will make this cycle, but someday ;)

    I've created 10 so far, and I'd love to be a Giant Squid. I'll have to get cracking on the next 40 if I want to meet the June deadline. I tend to create lenses pretty slowly. I like to make sure each one is well done before moving on to the next. Thanks for pointing this link out to me!

    Robin -- just dropped in to say hello -- question: do we have a directory that lists ALL Giant Squids and Giant Squid 100 Club to date w/number of lenses created? I happened to stumble upon a lensmaster -- I think monopoly? -- who has created > 1000 lenses! Can't ever imagine doing that many.

    I would love some comments on my lenses, what may need improvement and what I might be doing right. I would love to make giant this round, but I may be asking for help too late. If you have time, any advice and help would be greatly appreciated!

    Every person on Squidoo loves this site and wants
    to help in a way that is very close to their own hearts. So sticking together and helping each other is great. I say we are all in the same boat Giant Squids and squid lings, thank you for this great help and guide. This lens is way beyond five stars.

    Robin -- glad to hear about your activities as a giant squid mentor -- 50 lenses is really quite attainable -- when reflecting back on that as it's been nearly one year!
