I was listening to BBC today and it was the life history of Khalil Gibran, very fascinating story and was also taken aback about his love story with his girlfriend Mary who I thought was a amazing loving, caring and also a honest women. Can we find any women of that type at this present time, I don`t think so. Beautiful spiritual radio programme. Thank you BBC

Both my mother and father have made their transition, as well as my grandparents. My brother is gone and most, but not all, of my Aunts and Uncles are gone. The Poem "On Death" in "The Prophet" has sustained me through all. I even pulled out my copy when I had to put my dog, Lucy, down. A great lens on Khalil Gibran. Thank you..

    Pleasure is the freedom song
But it is not the freedom.
It is the blossoming of your desires
But it is not the fruit

A best friend over the years. I liked the vinyl record that Richard Harris made in the 70s on the Prophet. A rare piece of inspiration.

I first read Khalil Gibran in 1970 / 71 and the two books I bought then have travelled with me ever since.
Of course, my life has taken many twists and turns and they are now in a very fragile state but there is always inspiration in the pages.
