Giclee prints; fine art prints
This is an overview of the giclee printing process with information as to the available fine art papers and canvas used by my recommended printer/framer. I've been a client of theirs for years and am very satisfied with both the quality of their work and their satisfaction guarantee.

Dancer
"Dancer", in respect for, and in honor of dancers everywhere, and especially in fondness to my niece, the ballerina, who was such a little doll in her cute little tutu :-)View a larger image at my Giclee Gallery. (There is a small white border outside of the black border, which may not be apparent on this page without a frame around the art.)

One of my more painterly artworks.
Wikipedia.org defines Sirocco:
Sirocco, scirocco, jugo or, rarely, siroc is a Mediterranean wind that comes from the Sahara and reaches hurricane speeds in North Africa and Southern Europe. It is known in North Africa by the Arabic word qibli (i.e. "coming from the qibla".)
Crystal Shores
"Crystal Shores"This artwork brings to mind images of breakers crashing against the rocks, tossing ships and raising havoc. But it looks as if the breaker is frozen in time - it looks like a multi-faceted crystal, or a bit from Superman's Fortress of Solitude. Or are those rocks the remains of a petrified forest?
The beauty of an abstract is that each person sees something a little different within the art, and the multitude of textures and the variation throughout the artwork leave plenty for the imagination to play with.
The centerpiece of the art is one three dimensional object, although it does not appear as such. The coloring is built up from many layers to achieve the richness of depth, the variation in the surface textures and the appearance of the different areas of the art.
Red Planet
"Red Planet"This surreal artwork is a bit Daliesque in the sense of its unexpected shapes, and the depth of the landscape. The colors, the look of the 'false' sky, and the alien landscape all lend an air of mystery and wonder to this artwork.
The organic curves, gently flowing and turning in an unexpected composition, the muted orange and rust colors of the landscape, and the blues and yellows of the 'enclosed' sky, present themselves in an intriguing and unique interplay of light and color.
The result is an appealing, restful, and mysterious landscape that could only be found in the mind of its artist creator. Please join me and enjoy this view of my mental meanderings.

Gilded Lily
Gilded LilyI had almost decided to make this flower a deep brick red, but then after I gilded the lily I realized that this was the dress she wanted to wear!"
