Semi-Surrealism Landscapes
Christine Wasankari, a Washington State artist, has an extensive art background and majored in both Illustration and Advertising Graphic Design at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in Denver, Colorado.
She has exhibited in Washington, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming and her original paintings and prints are in private and corporate collections in many parts of the US and Europe. She specializes in landscapes, still life, floral and abstract expressionism while utilizing a wide range of media. She is currently living near the beautiful and inspiring Olympic National Park.
From her landscape series of southern Colorado and the San Luis Valley and Northern New Mexico. In the lower foothills of The Sangre De Christo mountains, from La Veta over to the San Luis Valley are several little ranch access roads. This is but one of them on the east side of the range.
