A Good Veterinarian is Family, too!
Your veterinarian is often someone you want to express appreciation for at gift giving times like Christmas or when a thank you gift is in order but what do you buy for a veterinarian?
The choices can be difficult since you aren't normally socializing with your pet's veterinarian other than when you bring your pet into their office for medical care.
Gift ideas for your veterinarian do not have to be difficult or expensive. The fact that you think enough of them to remember them will mean a lot.
Many gift ideas for your veterinarian are showcased on this page. There are things you can make, things you can customize and things you can purchase. You are sure to find an appropriate gift for your veterinarian here.

Pet Magazines
gift ideas for veterinarians
Magazines are a great gift idea for your veterinarian. This is something they may enjoy reading themselves and they can use them in their clinic for others to read while waiting. Heck, this is a gift that almost gives itself to you if you find yourself at your vet's office very often because you get to read them, too! Win-Win all the way!

Who doesn't love cookies? This great gift idea is something you can either purchase or make yourself for very little money yet it makes a big impact on a vet's heart.
Give either cookies for your veterinarian and their staff or dog/cat treats -- or both!
Really get creative and make pet themed cookies. There are a multitude of cookie cutters on the market now, from bone shapes to shapes of specific breeds. I even have a coonhound shaped cookie cutter at home since I raise/show redbone coonhounds. You could personalize your gift with the shape of your breed or that of your veterinarian.

- Such a nice idea for a lens! My daughter's cat who we all adore just needed surgery and the vet and his staff were so wonderful and caring. When my daughter brought Smokey to get her stitches out yesterday we brought trays of brownies and cookies for the staff and a nice note they hung up on their bulletin board to share with other pet loving families. The staff and Vet really appreciated the gesture.

- Never thought about it. Although you have a great list going with lots of nice things, thinking back (30 years), all of my vets have been Jewish. Oy. Go figure.
