Shopping is NOT My Thing

OK, I'm going to be brutally honest with myself. Shopping is NOT my thing. In fact, my wife usually tells me what to buy her because most of the time I don't seem to get it right.

I'm slowly giving up on clothes, flowers, electronics, restaurants and expensive jewelry...any swagger gifts I think may give me that special edge and a twinkle in her eye.

I am a complete idiot when it comes to shopping.

Ironically, I'm finding the greatest gifts I can give to her are simple tasks around the house such as completing my "Honey Do" list, helping out with the kids and in general, just being around and engaged with her more. I think this is a good strategy for the house idiot who can't shop very well for the special unique gift. These are sure fire ways to build equity.

But, in late 2008 I decided to display a little swagger factor to pump up my ego. I was determined to be different and unpredictable, yet, I had to find another way.

I was on a search for something cool and unique. During Christmas I found the answer in a little box that said, "wow - you really care about me!"

Fortunately for me, I didn't have to go far. It was almost in my own backyard! The store I found is called Swagger Gifts

I've met Mandy Becker, the owner of this "upscale gift boutique with an eclectic flair". She is both energetic and creative and her shop is widely known for their amazing customer service.

They have hundreds of fantastic personalized gifts for women who love shopping for unique items year 'round. Her inventory changes out frequently during the season so items are always fresh and fun!

Holiday shopping is fun at Swagger gifts but make no mistake about it - this store is great year 'round.

I love Swagger Gifts Website It's very easy to shop on and they even have gift guides if you don't know what to get. Mandy has everything you need year 'round for all occasions and seasons. Be sure to check back often. In fact, I heard that the new improved website is about to go online any day to make our shopping experience better than ever!

My Top Pick for the 2009 Special Gift

My top 2009 special gift pick is most definitely Trollbeads. Your biggest challenge will be deciding which bead? There are so many choices but don't worry, Mandy or her staff will gladly help you.

As an authorized dealer, Mandy showed me something that you can't find everywhere. These beads are quite unique. As I understand it "each Trollbead has it's own history artistically inspired by mythology, fairy tales and cultural diversity".

Occasionally, designs will be retired. They are made from the highest quality raw materials including sterling silver, 18 Karat gold, Italian glass, natural pearls, semi- precious stones and amber.

I'm glad I found this store. Now I can rely on my secret weapon to turn this shopping idiot into superhero! If you are looking for something unique, call Swagger 1-877-SWAGGER and they will recommend gifts over the phone or go to their Gift Guides on the website. While there, sign up for Swagger's newsletter too.

You are so right about this site. I found some great personalized gifts at swaggergifts.com
Knowing that it has a retail front as well I can actually call someone in the shop for advice before I make a purchase if I need to. I love shopping at Swaggergifts for my family and friends.

Great write up, especially for a man to admit he needs help in the 'gifting' department. Well written and great advice.
