What Shall I Get Him???

As a man get older it gets harder and harder to think of gift ideas for him. They have everything, want nothing or expect you to come up with a fantastic gift idea all on your own. When a birthday or the Holidays approach, it's always a good idea to drop a few subtle hints just in case, for once, he's thought about it and has some ideas on what he wants for a gift. If that doesn't happen (and it won't 95% of the time) here are some gift ideas to help you.

Radio Controlled Camera Plane

Looking for a "WOW" Christmas gift for a child (or even a child-like husband)? How about a Radio Control Digital Camera Plane?

There is no doubt that a kid who opens this on Christmas day would say "WOW". Particularly age 8-14, probably male (but girls would enjoy it too), possibly a husband and technically adept enough to transfer the images to their computer.

You do need to be experienced in using remote-control aircraft, so don't get it if you're not, or think you won't be able to learn then I wouldn't recommend it.

That aside, think how cool it would be to be able to take pictures from up to 1000 feet up (or even 20ft over the garden fence!). You may have to keep an eye on you teenage son during bikini time thinking on it...

This year, why not say "I love you," with something that lasts longer than a dozen roses? The right gadget can score points with your favorite sweetheart and be the one Valentine's Day gift that keeps on giving.

There are many recently redesigned iPods to choose from including ones with different colors and capacities. Watching videos on iPods is very popular with videos becoming more widely available for download especially with Apple's recent launch of an online movie rental business.

Apple iPod shuffles are smaller than ever and come in many colors. They cost $79 and hold 1GB worth of files which is about 240 songs. The iPod nano comes in colors, displays photos, plays videos or audio files, and costs $149 for a 4GB version and $199 for an 8GB one that will hold 2000 songs.

Gift Cards

People tend to think of gift cards as a cop-out. However, for those men that are really hard to buy for, a card for a store they always use will be very much appreciated. Another way to show you have thought about the gift is to suggest what they can buy with it. They may not use your suggestions, but they will appreciate the gift more.

Check out the hot new items to hit the shelves this Christmas that I've found to be great gifts for my kids or even a friend. Photokinz is a plush animal that has a digital photo frame in its belly, and i-Sing is a portable handheld Mp3 karaoke player and I just know my 11 and 9 yr old daughters are going to love them. If anyone wants to find any information on these new items you can go to www.itsoutrageous.com! It's a Great Buy!

Say, it's not for my guy, but that micro brewery could be a great idea for someone really into beer. The one someone suggested to me that I think is definitely a winner for most guys, is some kind of GPS. What guy doesn't love a gadget AND what guy doesn't hate to ask directions?

Those are great gift ideas, especially the beer brewing kit, I might have to look into that fairly soon.
