Choosing Gifts For Your Man

Let's be honest here: men kind of like big things. While little gifts here and there are nice, they aren't quite as inspiring to us as something big. Men tend to think big in life (hey, if you're reading a gift guide that is trying to apply to all men, you're going to have to live with some sweeping generalizations), and big gifts kind of go along with that somehow.

Of course, making a gift "big" doesn't have to entail a lot of financial outlay. The way I see it, you have several options. The first is to go with a gift that is perfectly in line with his hobbies. Men are forever dreaming of the next gadget that will make his hobby gear set complete, whether it be a camera lens, a golf club, or some parts for that project car. Getting a gift that fulfills his hobby based desires can be tricky, since you have to know exactly what he wants, but this can be solved by simply talking to him about his hobbies. Trust me, he'll be glad to share, and we be even happier when he sees you bought him the perfect gift. Men like being supported in their endeavors, no matter how insignificant they may seem to you, so these types of gifts are great.

Another great option is the so-called experience gift. An experience gift, as its name suggests, is basically a gift certificate redeemable for a certain experience. A classic example of this is skydiving, but there are many other options available. For example, XperienceDays.com offers golfing, cooking, flying, sailing, race car driving, hot air ballooning, and many more gifts. These are great options because an experience gift will always stand out from the crowd. Experiences will not be forgotten, like that coffee gift basket might. Give experience gifts a look next time you're shopping for your man.

Cool Manly Gift Idea

I talked about experience gifts for men above, and let me tell you, experiences don't get much manlier than driving a full sized tank! Check it out.

Tank Driving Experience

http://www.intotheblue.co.uk/driving-experiences/tanks-monster-machines/drive-tank/ Make no mistake here, boys and girls, tank driving is not as easy as it looks but we know you will have a great time trying to get to grips with several tonnes of heavy metal! The experiences here offer you the opportunity to clamber in and trundle through mud and ditches in some of the best-known military vehicles, including the ever popular 56 tonne Chieftain Tank. Often combining other driving or land-based activities such as clay pigeon shooting, quad biking and even hovercrafting, these experiences make for fantastically fun-packed and varied days out for all.
