During his tenure with NetworkOSS, he formulated the business model, and designed and implemented the company's solution platform and architecture. Charles also evaluated and developed partnerships with software providers, provided technical support and direction to sales efforts, and led a team of program managers to coordinate project plans and implementations.
In 1997, Charles joined Beechwood Data Systems, a fast-growing professional services organization that was subsequently acquired by Cap Gemini in 1999. Charles served as Program Director for the Northeast Region of Cap Gemini Telecommunications, where he led teams of more than 100 professionals in designing and deploying telecommunications software solutions for corporate clients. He directed sales, marketing, and operations strategies to expand the practice and ensure effective management of existing accounts. He personally secured more than $2.5M in annual sales, and his team captured up to $7M in yearly revenue.
Before joining Beechwood/Cap Gemini, Charles served in numerous management roles within AT&T. He conceived and oversaw the strategic planning and development of a technology solution that enabled AT&T to evaluate and manage the performance of vital business services. His innovation, training, and exposure to proven quality methodologies helped him to streamline business practices by eliminating redundancies and process deficiencies. These efforts led to $3.9M in annual labor savings and $45M in overall cost reductions, and earned him several awards and accolades.
Prior to his tenure at AT&T, Charles served as a Manufacturing Project Engineer with ITT Corporation's Avionics Division. In this capacity, he directed the conversion of advanced military product designs into production, receiving several Presidential Citations for his work.
Charles has developed proficiencies for numerous technologies and industries as a result of his leadership in these businesses. He is regularly sought after by leading financial institutions, investment companies, venture capitalists, and other business leaders for his technology and marketing knowledge and guidance. He has been an active professional member of various leadership and technology organizations, including the CEO Club, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
