So who are these great Disney Cars characters that all children adore? Lets learn more about some of the main characters who liven Radiator Springs and have captured the hearts of many children around the globe.

Lightning McQueen is a race car who struggled to compete in the Piston Cup and within his first year, had made it to the finals. As famous as he was as a race car, this car was lonely and without and friends to call his own. No coach or crew team would stay with him through his racing days.

In a turn of events however, Lightning McQueen found himself in a small town of Radiator Spring, instead of in Los Angeles competing for the big race. Although he was mad at first for being stuck there, he then got to know some real good friends and changed his character dramatically. He then turned around to help his friends in what little way he can, and made everyone happy and Radiator Spring a better place for all.

The vast change in his character is seen when he chooses to help a fellow racer complete the race instead of winning it himself. This in itself has a lot to teach the children. Victory doesn't come first.

It is thus inevitable to say that Lightning McQueen is a well liked car. Getting your child a gift that features McQueen would certainly blow their mind away.

Our next Disney Cars character, Mater is a great rusty old tow truck. Mater is the first person at Radiator Springs that McQueen meets. He is a jolly friendly tow truck who brightens up everyone's lives and finds a thrill in messing with the large tractors. He may have gotten rusty and been forgotten over the years. But he holds his head up with a smile that would make anyone's day. The friendship between Mater and McQueen is truly something that could teach us a lesson or two.

His dream is to drive around in a helicopter, Mater is a friend who would always be there for you, through thick and thin.

Sally, the sleek Porshe car isa Disney Cars character that is well-liked by everyone in the town of Radiator Spring. Owner of the Cozy Cone, Sally has learned how to take life easy and to slow it down, enjoying every moment of it without any rush. At the same time, she tries to also make Radiator Spring a better town for all her friends.

Sally is also one of the main people who actually transformed McQueen and made him realize the goodness in being nice, having friends and to "just take a drive" and pace down. Sally, who was once a busy attorney in Los Angeles found it in her to appreciate sheer beauty and good friendship and left the rat race to enjoy life. I am certain some of us could learn from this stylish blue car! And she certainly makes a great role model for our children-to teach them the importance to appreciate your life and friends.

Mack is yet another fun friend who was there for McQueen even when he was a rookie race car. Mack was already there to take McQueen to all his races and was there as his crew chief during his championship race, when the rest of his crew left him. Even though McQueen did take him for granted in the beginning, Mack felt bad when he lost McQueen to the highways on the way to California and was overwhelmed with joy when he did find him in Radiator Springs. Mack is a true friend who would follow McQueen wherever he went.
