Duracell DPP-600HD Powerpack 600 Jump Starter

There are a lot of different types of jump starters out there on the market. Some are more expensive and some are cheaper but there are some features of the Duracell DPP-600HD Powerpack 600 Jump Starter & Emergency Power Source with Radio that make it better than the others.

The heart of the Duracell Battery PowerPack is a sealed non-spillable 28 amp-hour AGM battery. It can be safely and conveniently recharged from any household AC outlet or DC cigarette-lighter outlet making it ready to go whenever you need it.

Also the Duracell PowerPacks 28- amp battery can jump start most 8 cylinder vehicles with it's included jumper cables. A built in AM/FM clock radio provides access to news and emergency broadcasts, while the built in emergency light provides extra illumination to keep you out of the dark and to signal to others if you are stranded. This is a great source to have as an emergency backup power.

I got stuck last week with my car's alternator and battery being dead. This unit started my car 4 times that night and I actually used the supply to power the car so I could drive it an extra block to avoid paying a tow charge. It powers my hungry laptop for up to 4 hours between charges. I can't reccomend this power supply more....all aces

This power pack will run most anything you'll need while camping. Radios, computers, cell phones, lights, and also any 12 volt items. I used the battery cables one time and worked like a charm. Even the little light is handy. Recharges quickly from a 12 volt source. But for a good long charge use the AC outlet. The raido is not a good as I would like but for an emergency it's fine. I like to use this powerpack instead of my generator while camping since it makes no noise at all.

I had originally purchased Sears' version -- which was quickly returned. It had an air compressor that would overheat the unit, and to run DC source, the inverter needed to be turned on and was so loud i could not hear my radio.

I've used this Duracell600 a few times now and it is awesome. Ran my Bose Wave radio on the beach all day, 4 days in a row (would recharge at night) - and the day I left the beachhouse, my truck's battery was completely dead. Pulled this thing out and jumped it on the first try. This thing really is sweet.
