Books On How To Write
No matter how many books we already own that tells us how to plot, why you shouldn't use adverbs, and how to decide what color your hero's hair should be, I don't know of any writers who don't jump at the chance to read yet another one. Here's a tip: before you actually buy any of these books, scope out their bookshelves, bedside table, under the bed, and in the bathroom. They may already have it, though they might still be happy to have a second copy to lend to friends.

For Those Not On A Budget

Not all writers write novels or non-fiction. There are aspiring screen writers as well. This particular software program comes highly recommended, though since it's not my forte, I have no personal experience to back it up.
