Gin is my favourite beverage (next to an ice cold beer) but I prefer my gin with, cherries and a spoon or two of froze juice in it. A fruity beverage served over ice.

Leave the booze out of this great summer drink recipe? Not by the hair on my ginny-gin-gin. OK, that was really bad, but the drink, Thyme Lemonade from Everyday Food magazine, was really good. Gin takes its taste to whole new level of deliciousness. I write about it on my blog at http://recipes-that-worked.blogspot.com/2010/06/to-gin-or-not-to-gin-that-is-question.html

I just wanted to add a great gin cocktail recipe... Gin'ger & Tonic...

    - 2 slices of fresh root ginger
    - 2 shots of gin
    - 1/4 shot of sugar syrup
    - Top up with tonic water

Muddle the gin in the base of the shaker, add the gin and sugar sryup and shake well. Then strain into an ice filled glass and top up with tonic. Give it a stir and you have a great tasting cocktail. Can be seen here http://www.thecocktailstore.co.uk/cocktail-knowledge/cocktail-recipes-g.html
