- We used to go crazy making elaborate ginger bread houses and landscaping when my children were young. My Mom roped us into to it by having pre-baked the pieces before we all arrived and presented the project....we were up until the wee hours that first time and what good fun we had working together as a family on it and each adding their own special touches......it paid off in smiles the next morning....so, we just had to do a more elaborate creation that next year!

- I used to do a lot of decorating...there was a time when there was a small Christmas tree in every room of my house. I also had teatowels, potholders, and all sorts of kitchen decorations. Most of them I've now given to my 3 daughters, because it's too much work for me now to unpack the stuff, put it out, and then have to repack and put it away again. But I still love to look at beautiful decorations. Once I had a gingerbread boy and girl garland on my tree, and gingerbread boy and girl ornaments. It was very cute. Thank you for sharing these wonderful cheery Christmas decorations. Blessed
