Yes, I liked this lens. I've favorited it. I think social networking sites twitter is one of the best ways to create events. I'll be testing it soon...along with your suggestions. Maybe joining forums is a great way too. LOL

I think I've heard of this event but unfortunately, there are so many giveaway events of any kind (and too many of low quality) running at the moment that I finally sometimes miss the good ones :(

I think a sort of giveaway event that I participated in recently was held by David Balter and Guy Kawasaki -- in that you participated in a webinar and used twitter to tweet questions, comments with a hashtag. At the end of the event, 3 participants were selected to receive signed copies of Dave and Guy's books.
