If you are still buying info products it's possible that you are trapped in the "Sales Funnel" if you have purchased more than 3 products in the last two months or less then you are trapped in the sales funnel. Basically if you are not taking action i.e. following the instructions outlined in the product you bought then you will never succeed online. The truth is the people who sold you the product don't want you to succeed because if you do that means you will no longer need to buy a product from them or one they recommend. The list exists for this reason only.

Making money online is a game, especially the info product market. If you don't understand the game they are playing then I am afraid you will fail. This is how it works (in principle) you build a list of hungry customers and promote products to that list, these can be other peoples products or your own. I know what you are thinking ("tell me something I didn't already know?). Allow me to elaborate, over 90% of the "Make Money Products" you see on ClickBank are basically a rehash, and this is the biggest game of all, some guy creates an e-book, video course, or coaching program etc. and people buy it (the individual selling it makes money from the sales). This is the only money he has ever made online, so basically he/she has made money selling a concept. Some of the people who buy this product then recreate the product they bought, they tell the guy they bought it off that he will get 75% commission if he promotes this to people on his list, a JV (Joint Venture) begins. You get an email from the first guy telling you how wonderful this product is, normally with the headline similar to this "Zero to Hero in Less Than 7 Days", and you buy it, because you are still in the sales funnel. This circle continues. But for how long.

Here's another way to explain this, if you watch sport you will notice that there are two groups of people, those who play and those who watch, the ones who watch the game PAY! and the ones that play GET PAID. But if you cant play the game then find one you can. A word of WARNING "without the spectators there is no game!" There are now less spectators in the game of the info product market, because everyone is learning to play.

The biggest market online is the Consumer Market, there are millions of spectators worldwide, if you are playing the game of selling or promoting products to this market you will have paying spectators forever, it is unlikely that this Game will ever run out of loyal spectators. So this is the game you need to learn how to play. When you learn how to play this game well you get paid lots of money.

Just as in Football, Soccer or Baseball, whatever the sport the players that are the best are the ones who constantly learn new skills, more importantly they are the ones who earn the most money. The same can be said for any business, those that succeed are the ones that stay ahead of the game or at least keep up with it. Those of you who still believe that you don't need to know how to build content or own a website to be successful online, then think again, OK there are some people who say you don't need to own a website to make money online, if so, then why do they have one?. Yes you can make money building Lenses on Squidoo, which isn't technically a website, but you will make much more if you have a greater understanding of HTML or can build additional content and landing pages.

Let me start by making this statement at the time of creating and first publishing this Lens, I had made absolutely nothing on SQUIDOO, also at the time of first publishing this Lens which was on 2nd January 2010 I had been a member of SQUIDOO for almost 3 Years. I actually first signed up way back in July 2007. The thing was I could never find the time to learn the basics on how to create a Lens, although it is quite simple. My first Lens just lay dormant, so I just dismissed the idea.

How times have changed, and no doubt I will continue to revisit this Lens to update you on my progress on how much I am actually making by creating good quality content that people want to see. The point I want to make here is that at the time I was first introduced to SQUIDOO I was busy building other revenue streams which today provide me with my main source of income, this now allows me the time to concentrate on mastering the art or creating money making lenses. I know that I will have to create at least one or two lenses per day, and also update them on a regular basis depending on their content to make any significant amount of money. My message to those of you who think that by just creating a few pages online will mean that you are going to become the next Internet Millionaire you have got it very wrong indeed.
