A Need That Never Ends

Water is the most common liquid to maintain human life for most average people. But what if you're not average? What if you suffer from Leukemia, Anemia, or any other blood related illness? Water would remain important, but blood suddenly tops the scale.

According to the American Red Cross, only 5% of eligible donors actually give blood. Imagine the strain this places on hospitals. It only takes one large natural disaster to place the blood supply in grave danger.

You are guaranteed to know someone who needs blood if you haven't already. Blood transfusions are used in everything from cancer treatment to surgical procedures. This blood must be transfused within 42 days. That doesn't give a blood bank a long time before it's bankrupt. Action is imperative.

You can make a difference in lives everywhere by taking a few minutes out of your day. What are you waiting for?
