- Kath and I are long time smokers and haven't (at least recently in my case) attempted to stop. It certainly is something that we know we should do though. Although I like all of the info here, it does make for uncomfortable reading if you do smoke. Great lens, thought provoking subject.

- Hate smoking, you can't go out in Tel-Aviv without returning smelling like an ash-trey.
I made my girlfriend cut back to 2 a day.
This lens goes to a superior cause, not just for smokers but also to passive smokers all around
Thanks

- Great Subject & Lens - Lenses need updating at some stage & the benefits of giving up section could possibly be added to - Most people know smoking is bad for their health so promoting the benefits of giving up could be a positive thing to do... Good luck !!

- I have been an avid smoker for nearly 30 years and have reached a point in my life where I think I almost ready to kick the habit. Your lens has given me some great insight on my next step.

- I quit a little over 2 years ago. I used the patch. It is tough, but it can be done! You have to stay focused and be mind-strong! I substituted lollipops for cigs.

- My brother tried to get me smoking when I was 5 yrs old, I held off until I was 10 yrs old. By age 30 my lungs had become inflamed. I then stopped smoking chemical laden taylor made tobacco, rather began smoking Top brand natural tobacco. Within 2 wks my health returned. www.focusonrecovery.net
