The Plotline of Gladiator

General Maximus Decimus Meridus is a Roman General who is betrayed by the Roman Emporer after faithfully serving the previous Emporer his entire life. His title is stripped, his lands are taken and his family is killed. Maximus is then exiled to the farthest reaches of the Empire.

With nothing left to live for except a quest for justice and a desire to protect the Roman Republic, Maximus begins fighting in gladiatorial matches, eventually working his way to the Colosseum in Rome.

The Movie comes to a stunning conclusion, filled with action and plot twists.
