SIZE:
Like just about everything and anything else, glass vials come in different sizes and different shapes with different means of closure. Vial sizes are spoken of in terms of "dram". If you want a certain sized vile, you would ask for a certain dram size. For example the smallest dram size of a vial is 1/8, while the biggest is 4. PilotVials.com explains this concept very well. CORKS:
Vials need a means of closure. Corks are usually what people use to seal off their vials. Corks come in different sizes also; to accomodate for the vials opening size. SHAPES:
As far as vial shapes go, it's pretty much endless. You can find star shaped, turtle shaped, long and narrow flat ended, long and narrow rounded end, short and fat flat end.
