Glenn Beck Book Recommendations: The Glenn Beck Book Club

Glenn Beck's book recommendations often become bestsellers because Glenn Beck's viewers and listeners read a lot of books. Whenever Glenn Beck suggests a book, people read it. His suggestions almost immediately make waves on the Amazon.com bestseller list. Even books that have been around for more than a decade see a spike in sales once Beck introduces his audience to it. The books that he promotes are usually pretty good; that must be why people keep buying the books that he mentions. I have read many of his book recommendations myself, and have learned a lot from them.

This is a list of Glenn Beck's book recommendations from the current year. I have been watching Glenn Beck since his days over at CNN Headline News. Although my husband initially dragged me into watching him, I've found out that he had a lot of good information. The book recommendations include books on history, faith, economics, and other topics that have been discussed during his show.

It Is Dangerous to Be Right When the Government Is Wrong

How true this is. We are in a dangerous time when even the police (in some jurisdictions) are being infiltrated by some of the seedier elements of society. Our freedoms are being taken away at an unprecedented rate. Beck has talked about this book more than once, and although he once saw Judge Napolitano as being a little "out there", he is beginning to agree with him more and more.

It Is Dangerous to Be Right When the Government Is Wrong: The Case for Personal Freedom

Amazon Price: $13.35 (as of 02/16/2012)Buy Now

Judge Napolitano is an advocate for freedom in our country. I had the chance to see Napolitano at Glenn Beck's American Revival, and he's a very intelligent guy. I'd love to find the time to read this book.

Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25

Richard Paul Evans

This is the first book from Mercury Ink, Glenn Beck's publishing house. This is the first book in a series for teens. I will encourage my daughter to read this book when she gets a little older. She's a good reader, but it still is probably a little advanced for her (she's 9).

Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25

Amazon Price: $3.87 (as of 02/16/2012)Buy Now

Kids with special powers? Someone hunting one of these kids down? A special cell for these special kids? Sounds like an exciting book. I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Killing Lincoln

Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard

I haven't had the chance to read this book, but it sounds interesting. I've read some of Bill O'Reilly's books before, and they're pretty good. Glenn Beck says that it was worth "every penny up to $5". I think that he was kidding about the $5 part. ;-)

Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination that Changed America Forever

Amazon Price: $13.80 (as of 02/16/2012)Buy Now

Looking for a good book on Lincoln written in story format? This book has some interesting new information about Lincoln, such as the fact that John Wilkes Booth was engaged to the daughter of a senator, but his wife was cheating on him with Lincoln's son.

The 7: Seven Wonders That Will Change Your Life

The 7Glenn Beck announced his book, The 7: Seven Wonders That Will Change Your Life, on January 4th, its release date, although it's been on Amazon.com for a little while now for pre-order. This is a book about seven traits that can change your life. Are you at the bottom of your life? Think that things just can't sink further? Then this book is for you. Even if you're not at the bottom, I think that most of us could benefit from these seven traits: courage, faith, truth, friendship, family, compassion, and common sense.

In case you're wondering, that is Rafe on the cover, and not some boy that Glenn Beck hired to be on the cover. Maybe it's just me who thinks of things like that.

Available at Amazon.com.

Raising Little Capitalists

Do you want to raise kids that think that they are entitled to things that they have not earned, or do you want to raise kids that work to earn the things that they have? Richard Eyre has written books about raising your kids in a way that will help them grow up not believing that the world revolves around them and they deserve all kinds of material items that they have not earned.

Essential Books for Your Library

Glenn Beck recommends that every patriot should have in their personal library.

The Roots of Obama's Rage

What is Barack Obama all about? Why does he snub the British and bow to the Saudis? What makes him tick? This book delves into Obama's past, and his roots, including the dreams of his father. It looks like a good book. I'm not sure if I want to use some Swagbucks to preorder it now, or whether I want to wait and put it on my Christmas list.

The Road to Serfdom

In some communist countries, you could be given 12 years of hard labor for giving the book to someone, and seven years in prison just for reading this book. In America, you can still read it without getting jail time. Ronald Reagan loved this book. What I'm wondering is, "why had I never heard of this book until June 7, 2010?"

The Road to Serfdom: Text and Documents--The Definitive Edition (The Collected Works of F. A. Hayek, Volume 2)

Glenn Beck talked about this book on June 8, 2010. He said it was "easy to understand" and the "best thing you could read." He encourages you to "make it a part of your essential library."

5000 Year Leap

Understanding Our Constitution

If you were to buy ONE book on Glenn Beck's recommendation list, this would probably be the one. Beck has said a few times that if you're going to only buy one book, this is where you should start. This book discusses some of the principals behind the Constitution, such as the people being in control, and the fact that there needs to be a certain amount of government, but not too much. I have written a page specifically about the 5000 Year Leap, if you need more information.

The 5000 Year Leap (Original Authorized Edition)

Amazon Price: $5.81 (as of 02/16/2012)Buy Now

This was the first book that Glenn Beck recommended that really impacted the Amazon.com bestseller list almost immediately. The 5000 Year Leap has a lot of good information, and is very easy to read. I was able to read this book in only a couple of days due to its simplicity. The concepts involved are very important though, and you don't find them in many other places.

A Patriot's History of the United States of America

An Excellent History Book

Are you looking for a good overview of history from Columbus until September 11th? This book has it all. I really like how Larry Schweikart ties the events that happened to America with what happened before. How did Marco Polo lead to Columbus? Find out here, and so much more. It has a lot of good information, and you'll probably learn something from it, especially if your history knowledge is limited to what you learned in school.

A Patriot's History of the United States: From Columbus's Great Discovery to the War on Terror

Amazon Price: $2.32 (as of 02/16/2012)Buy Now

This book does take a while to read. There is a lot of information inside. It is a worthwhile read. After reading this book, you'll understand why Glenn Beck doesn't like Andrew Jackson (although I don't think that his passion matches that of his hatred for Woodrow Wilson).

The Real George Washington

A Man With Integrity

If you only had enough money to buy a couple of books, Glenn Beck has mentioned before that this is a book that you should choose (after you buy the 5000 Year Leap). This is a great book. It will help you understand more about the Father of our Country, and about how God had a hand in shaping the creation of the United States of America. I highly recommend it as well.

The Real George Washington (American Classic Series)

This book is really easy to read, although due to its large size, you probably won't be able to read it in a day. The back of this book contains numerous quotes from Washington on all sorts of subjects, as well as copious footnotes.

How Much Do You Know About Glenn Beck?

Original Sources

Go to the original sources when you can. Glenn Beck's non-fiction book recommendations include footnotes so you can verify the information for yourself. Question with boldness.

Federalist Papers

Glenn Beck tends to stress going to the original sources when trying to learn things. Historians sometimes get it wrong. These are the original documents.

The Federalist Papers

If you don't want to spend the money on these, you can download this from Project Gutenberg. If you're a tin-hatter that thinks that documents like these might be censored in the future... you might want your own copy though.

Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin

I haven't had the chance to read this book yet, but as this book is written by Benjamin Franklin, it is probably pretty good. He's famous for expressions such as "a penny saved, a penny earned" and "early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise". This book is out of copyright, of course, so if you would like to read the book, but don't have the money to buy the book, you can check Benjamin Franklin's Autobiography out for free on the internet.

Lives of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence

Used to be Used in Public Schools

Did you know that on Constitution Day, which is September 17th, school children are supposed to study the Constitution of the United States? I didn't know that, but now that I know that, I have made it a part of my homeschool. I also plan on using this book as part of the curriculum, when my daughter gets old enough for it. This book talks about all of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Many of them gave up a lot for our liberties. This used to be used in the public schools. It has been reprinted so that we can use it in the future.

If you want to know more about the Founding Fathers, this book is important. It was written a long time ago, before history revisionists were able to change history.

This book was originally printed in 1848. The author was about as far removed from these events as we are from the Great Depression. Technically, it is out of copyright. I haven't been able to find a free reprint online. Please leave me a link if you find one.

Wives of the Signers

Wives of the Signers is a companion to Lives of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence. Not only did the signers of the Declaration of Independence have to make sacrifices, but their wives did as well.

Parts of this book can be found at Colonial Hall. I used it to help create my page on Samuel Adams.

Democracy in America

What made America great? Even more important, what will be America's downfall. De Tocqueville answers these questions with this classic book.

If we want to restore America, we need to know how it used to be. This is a first-hand account that is still referred to today. Glenn Beck has quoted this book quite a few times on his show.

Restoring History

These are books that Beck has recommended in his series, "Founder's Fridays", along with the other "Restoring History" segments that he has hosted.

Why Coolidge Matters

Could we get a president like Calvin Coolidge? He cut taxes and cut spending by about half. People rose to the occasion and invented and made things. He took the oath of office by the light of a kerosene lantern, but by the end of his term, three times the number of people had cars, half of the country had electricity, real income went up by 22%, housework was made easier, the radio took off, the length of the work week went down, educational spending (on the local level) went up, and illiteracy fell by about 1/2. His hands off approach led to what we call the "Roaring Twenties".

This is about George Washington's Christianity, which many modern historians try to discredit. There are 200 pages of footnotes to this book, so it's likely that this book is well-researched.

Franklin: The Essential Founding Father

I haven't had the chance to read this book yet, but Beck did have the author on his show on his Benjamin Franklin special, and the author is very knowledgeable. There is sure to be something in this book that you don't know.

Glenn Beck recommends this book to learn more about Benjamin Franklin.

The Real Benjamin Franklin

I haven't had the chance to read this book, but I have read most of The Real George Washington, and the writing in this series is excellent. If this is anything like the Washington book, it's great. Beck had a special on Benjamin Franklin June 4, 2010, and it was excellent. There's a lot about Benjamin Franklin that we aren't taught in schools any more.

The Real Benjamin Franklin (American Classic Series)

The books in this series are highly recommended by Glenn Beck, and they are well-written and easy to read.

American History in Black and White

Just when I think that I am getting caught up on all the books I want to read, another one comes out that I really want to read. The newest book that I'm interested in is American History in Black and White. This is all about the black founding fathers. Did you know about them? As I learn more about history, I have been learning about black people who have made contributions to American history, like James Beckwourth, who wasn't a founding father, but was an important explorer in the old west. Why didn't we learn about these guys in school? My kids are biracial, so I want them to learn about all the people that were important to history. Even if they weren't, I don't see why we have excluded the contributions of an entire race of people for so long.

Want to learn more about the black founding fathers? This book is by David Barton, who knows a lot about our history. I had the chance to hear him speak before; he really knows his stuff.

Faith

Faith is one of the three elements that Glenn Beck has been focusing on lately. These books can help you with your faith.

Hope Unseen

On 6 April 2005, Scotty Smiley lost his eyesight after a car bomber blew himself up near his vehicle. He was depressed at first, but he decided that his life wasn't about to end there. Instead, Smiley decided to get up and continue his life. Since then, he has been hiking, surfing, and skydiving.

Although things may be tough in this world today, we don't have to let that get us down either. We can learn from Scotty Smiley, brush ourselves off, and do the things that we need to do to reclaim a new chapter of our lives.

"Please Pick This Up" ~ Glenn Beck (23 Nov 2010)

The Greatest Words Ever Spoken

Glenn Beck has recommended this book a couple of times lately. I think that he described this book as "Genius." I know that he wondered why this book hadn't been made before.

The Greatest Words Ever Spoken: Everything Jesus Said About You, Your Life, and Everything Else (Thinline Ed.)

Amazon Price: $8.49 (as of 02/16/2012)Buy Now

This book catalogs all the words that Jesus has ever spoken. Even if you're not a Christian, it's hard to deny that Jesus was a very wise person who gave a lot of good advice.

American Patriot's Bible

Every Christian should have a Bible, especially in America, where you can pick up a New Testament at the Dollar Store for $1. If you can't afford even that, you could probably find a church that would get one for you. If you would like a Bible that integrates the Founding Fathers, you might want to try the American Patriot's Bible. I bought this as a Border's Bankruptcy sale and I keep it on my desk as a reference. Whatever you do, don't pick up the Social Justice Bible. If you need a Bible, get something simple, or get a Bible like this.

NKJV American Patriot's Bible

This version of the Bible is the New King James Version.

Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy

Glenn Beck has talked about this book a couple of times on this show. I finally got around to reading this, and I loved it. Times are getting tough, and I think that in the near future, Christians may have to make a choice between doing what they think is right and being punished by the authorities. My personal take on the TSA procedures, for example, is that both the enhanced pat-down procedures and the body scan machines are sinful; I mentioned that on my TSA Protest page. Almost nobody seems to agree with me, but if Christians are asked to do more and more questionable things, will we stand up and refuse to sin? Or will we cave in to the pressure? They're already starting to hate the Jews.

If you're a Christian and you're not just playing church, you need to do the right thing, no matter what. This book is the story of someone who believed in Jesus and lived it, even to the death.

Day After the Dollar Crashes

A Survival Guide for The Rise of the New World Order

Beck highlighted this book on his show on November 5, 2010. Government officials have been talking about the New World Order since September 11, 1990 (when President Bush declared "Out of these troubled times...a New World Order can emerge," when talking about the first Gulf War). For the past 20 years, the world has moved closer to that reality. Vickers believes that between the announcement that China will no longer buy the US's debt, and the rise of the actual New World Order, there will be a period of 15 days of chaos. Are you prepared for the new reality? Have you thought about what you will do when the signs of the New World Order's imminence appear, and the dominoes start collapsing?

Winners Never Cheat

One thing that I've learned in the last 10 years is this: if you want to be rich, do what the rich people do. Now, I'm not rich yet, but I have hope. In 2008, when I decided to take my writing seriously and treat it like a business, I felt like I had no hope and felt like I would be in poverty forever (our income tax returns that year recorded less than $7000 that year; we lived off an insurance check we got when our house caught on fire). John Huntsman is someone that you want to listen to if you want to be successful. He's a billionaire, although he plans on giving all of his money away (because he wants to). Not only did he have great ideas, but he is a man of integrity. That is what this book is about. Dave Ramsey has also talked about studies where most wealthy people have a great deal of integrity.

Midas Touch

Robert Kiyosaki was the author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. This is his latest book. The author knows a lot about how to make money. Do you want to be rich? Dave Ramsey said once "if you want to be rich, do what rich people do".

Glenn Beck also recommends Kiyosaki's other books, Unfair Advantage and Rich Dad's Conspiracy of the Rich.

The Creature from Jekyll Island

Do they drink blood over at the Federal Reserve? Probably not, but the truth is scary enough. As an aside (and this is not Glenn Beck's recommendation, but mine), G. Edward Griffin also wrote World Without Cancer: The Story of Vitamin B17. I had been familiar with both books in the past, but never knew that they were written by the same author. The cancer book has some pretty amazing information, as does the Jekyll Island book.

More About America

These books will help you understand America, and it's history, a little more.

Suicide of a Superpower

With books like these coming out nearly every day, I need more time to read books. A few years ago, I listened to America Alone by Mark Steyn on audiobook. It was excellent. It dealt with aspects like the declining birth rate and how America was going to really change. Scary stuff. Pat Buchanan's new book, Suicide of a Superpower, deals with this and more issues.

Buchanan was on Glenn Beck the other day, and I thought that he was interesting. Glenn Beck remarked on his radio show that he wanted to throw him out of the studio because he wasn't completely up to speed on progressives... so maybe he doesn't recommend this book. I'm still interested in reading this book though.

Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler: The Age of Social Catastrophe

Robert Gellately

In 2010, Glenn Beck focused on American history, and why our country is special. In 2011, it seems as if the communists and socialists have been uprising en mass. It's important to learn about how they came into power, to prevent it from happening in the future. This book focuses on Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler, and how they were able to take power.

America's Prophet

What does the United States have in common with Moses? Quite a lot, apparently. From the pilgrims to the civil rights movement, Moses has inspired Americans throughout its history. This book was the inspiration behind my page on The Liberty Bell (visit my page if you want to find out what Moses has in common with The Liberty Bell).

The Forgotten Man

This book isn't the easiest read, but it's not too difficult, and there's a lot of important information in here. Well worth a look.

The History Of The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire

Beck suggested reading this book as kind of an afterthought during his October 25 2010 broadcast. He suggested that you "read Gibbon". I'm not sure why he didn't suggest reading this book before. I've known about this book for quite a while (before I ever heard of Glenn Beck, in fact), and have noticed the similarities between some of the things that people have said are in this book and what is happening in American society. The book is also mentioned in chapter 1 of his new book, Broke. I have started to read this book, and so far I like it, although it is a very difficult book to read. Definitely not something you'll read in a day.

I try not to suggest that someone buy a product that they can (legally) get for free. If you want to read a free copy of this book online, you can read a copy of The History Of The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire for free. A paper copy might be easier to read, but if you are hurting for money, you can still read this book.

Hitler's Professors

Glenn Beck mentioned this book at least twice in October 2011, as he explored the Occupy Wall Street protests and how there is a lot of trouble - and troublesome thought - coming out of academia. If you believe that history often repeats itself, and would like to compare and contrast the academic elite of today with those of the Nazi era, this book might interest you. My guess is that this is a fairly academic book, but many of Glenn Beck's readers are used to tackling tougher challenges.

Want to see what the academic climate was like during Hitler's day? This book details what the Germans were teaching in the universities when the Nazi regime was in full swing.

Is America Losing to China?

In 2008, when China hosted the Beijing Olympics, I thought that learning Chinese would be a good thing. After the Olympics, terrorism was concerning me, so I decided to work on learning Arabic instead. Last year, I could see how China was gaining dominance over the United States, and I decided to set aside Arabic for a while and learn Chinese instead. On Glenn Beck's 14 January 2011 show, one of his guests (Jim Rogers) confirmed my suspicion when he suggested that everybody have their kids learn Mandarin Chinese. He also pointed out some books about China that I thought sounded really interesting.

When I conducted my research for Mongolia Under the Khans, I learned that Marco Polo and the open Silk Road helped pave the way for Columbus, but I didn't realize (or the fact was glossed over) that they sailed to the Americas first. The two books, 1421 and 1434, sound fascinating, and I need to spend more time reading so I can finish the books on my reading list and get to these books.

Pssst... Let Me Let You in on a Secret

I have had the opportunity to read (and buy) many of the books on this list... that can add up to a lot of money. We're not rich in my house... in fact, we're currently unemployed, and on a good day, we make about the poverty level.

How can I afford all these great books then? Swagbucks. I do almost all my searching with them. Since I'm a writer and a homeschool teacher, I search a lot. They use the Google database... the only times that I don't get the results I need are when I'm looking for recent news (like in the last day) or sometimes something extremely obscure. Most of the time Swagbucks has what I need.

I'm always winning Swagbucks as I search. When I get 450 points, I can trade in my points for a $5 Amazon.com card. Once I save up $25 in Amazon.com gift cards, I place an order to take advantage of the free shipping. I usually earn enough Swagbucks through my everyday searching to place about three orders a year (keep in mind, I'm a writer, so I'm always searching).

They have more prizes than just Amazon gift cards, but that's what I spend my points on. If you're not a member, I suggest that you check it out.

Fiction

Book photo by lusi. These are fiction books that Glenn Beck has recommended. While you can learn a lot from nonfiction, sometimes it's nice to take a break and escape for a bit.

Many of these books are thrillers and are based on real facts. I suppose with Glenn Beck, you can't escape that far with his book recommendations...

Beck has started to recommend a few movies. These go here too.

Overton Window

Glenn Beck's First Fiction Thriller

The Overton Window is expected to be released right before my birthday (yay!). It will be Glenn Beck's first fiction thriller. Glenn Beck has talked about some of his favorite thrillers over the course of his career, and has promoted books like The Last Jihad and The Last Patriot: if you like those books (or books like them) then you will probably like this one... or we can hope. I know that I have mine on pre-order.

The Overton Window

Amazon Price: $1.55 (as of 02/16/2012)Buy Now

The Overton Window is Glenn Beck's first fiction thriller. Amazingly, he has actually had to change some things in the book since he first started writing it because they actually happened. Should be a good read.

The Inner Circle

Brad Meltzer

"If you loved the movie National Treasure like I did, this one is like National Treasure." ~Glenn Beck'

Brad Meltzer is also the host of a show called Decoded which appears on the History Channel. I love the show. I have the book, I just have to get around to reading it. So many books, so little time...

This is a book that Glenn Beck read over his Christmas vacation. He says that he couldn't put it down. Somebody wants to kill the president, there are secrets involved. Exciting. I read it in one day, it was so engaging.

Hummel's Cross

Brad Schaeffer

This book is about a pilot who fought for Germany during World War II. One reader says that "Once I started turning the pages, I just could not stop."

Brad Schaeffer made his debut appearance on GBTV on November 3, 2011. While this is a fiction book, Schaeffer is quite knowledgeable about what is going on today. If you're looking for a World War II book, you might want to check this one out.

Screwtape Letters

This is a classic CS Lewis work. Glenn Beck started reading this (again) at the end of July 2010 (he had read it a long time ago). This work even contains a letter from one devil to another about how to use social justice to get people sidetracked and send them to hell.

Want to learn more about how the Devil can get you sidetracked? How you can stop doing the work of the Lord? This book does have religious content; if you do not enjoy hearing Glenn talk about God, you might want to avoid this book.

Phillip Dru, Administrator

Woodrow Wilson read this book several times while he was in office. Why did he find this book so intriguing? Did he use it as a playbook? Is Obama living out this book today? Phillip Dru did not want to be president, but he had to. He appointed unelected officials to help him with his duties.

While I do make a commission when you buy a book (or any product from Amazon) off this web site, I don't want to rip you off. Phillip Dru, Administrator is no longer under copyright in the United States (or in many other countries). If you prefer a paper copy, by all means buy it; however, if you are okay with reading it in electronic form, you can download Phillip Dru, Administrator from Project Gutenburg for free. Plus, you can start reading it right away.

The Lion

The Lion is the Followup to The Lion's Game. John Corey is a terrorist hunter, trying to find a Libyan terrorist. Beck says that this book will be good until the 15th of June.

This book is highly recommended by Glenn Beck. It's a big book. It has been keeping me up late in the night.

Alongside Night

Beck mentioned this novel in the second hour of his podcast on June 2nd. This sounded like a political thriller that reads like tomorrow's headlines. The money supply is running out of control, and the government is taking over businesses. On the show, he said something like "Alongside Morning"... but after doing a little research, I discovered that this was the book that he was describing. A teen was called home from school after being told that his dad was dead. His dad is an economic expert that is telling everyone that the economy is collapsing. His dad isn't dead, but used that as a way to buy time. The boy goes to get the family's gold, but when he returns, the rest of the family was picked up by the Department of Justice and went to a concentration camp.

Alongside Night

Amazon Price: $13.04 (as of 02/16/2012)Buy Now

I haven't had the chance to read this, but Beck said that he read this in one day, and he enjoyed it. It sounded like a very interesting book; it's on my list of books I'd like to try to read this summer. Beck says that this is a "good read".

The Dark Side

Obama and his friends think in a completely different way than Glenn Beck and Tea Party patriots. They believe in redistribution of wealth; some of them even believe in eugenics. Read these books to gain insight into how they think.

Don't spend too long here though. Glenn Beck has admonished us "that which you gaze upon, you will become." Don't gaze too long.

Prairie Fire

The Weathermen spun off a organization called Prairie Fire. They also released this document. Beck believes that this is the blueprint that they are using right now. For more information about the Weathermen without buying this book, you can visit the page that I wrote on The Weathermen.

Would You LIke Friots With That?

Glenn Beck has called Cass Sunstein, one of the co-authors of this book, "the most dangerous man in America". In one example in this book, the authors suggest putting carrots at eye level in the cafeteria, and putting unhealthy foods like french fries out of the way. Should we be surprised that Michelle Obama suggested that restaurant managers make healthy choices like carrots or apples the default menu option?

First they tried to educate us into making better food choices. Then when that didn't work, they put the fries in an inconspicuous place. Then when people continued to eat them, they started taxing fries. When we kept eating them, they started punishing us for eating them. Is this the road we're going to? Are we headed towards friots?

Week of October 4th

In this week, Beck spent a couple of days going over Fabian Socialism, which is at the roots of the progressive party. The books that he recommended cover economics, and Fabian Socialist George Soros. He also recommended a book with a message from our true hope, "The Greatest Words Ever Spoken" by Jesus Christ.

He also talked about Stuart Chase's book, The road we are traveling.. It is very hard to find, and if it does show up on Amazon.com, you can expect to pay a premium for it.
