Glenn Close (born March 19, 1947) is an American singer and actress of stage and screen, perhaps best known for her role as deranged stalker Alex Forrest in Fatal Attraction (1987). Close has been nominated for eight Emmy's, won one, nominated again for nine Golden Globes (having already earned two) and five Oscar's, and has also received an Obie, three Tony's and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
